IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed, including the following:
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Before using the unit, check if the voltage indicated
corresponds with the convenience outlet (230Va.c.)
3. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If
the cord is damaged it should be replaced with the same
type and size or bring the unit to the nearest authorized
service center.
4. Do not place the Insect Killer near gas stove electric or
burner.
5. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is
used by or near children.
6. Do not touch the metal grill (inner grill) to prevent electric
shock.
7. Do not immerse the unit in water.
8. Use a non-conductive material in cleaning the metal grill
(inner grill).
9. Save this instruction manual for future reference.
OPERATING INSTRUCTION:
1. This unit is suitable to be used in bedrooms, living rooms,
restaurants, hotels and oces. Do not use in outdoors,
barns, stables and similar locations.
2. Plug the unit.
3. Switch ON
4. To prolong the life of the tube avoid switching ON and OFF
simultaneously.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
1. Replace the bulb when both ends of the tube become
dark. To ensure high efciency, change the bulb after
3,000 hour operation.
2. In case of malfunction, do not try to repair or change
the bulb, bring the sect Killer to the nearest Imarex In
Service Center.
3. How to clean the Metal Grill: Unplug the Insect Killer,
pull the Front Cover (from the top) and discharge the
remaining current by inserting a screw driver
(non-conductive handle) on the Metal Grill (a sound
will be heard indicating that the remaining current has
already been discharged). Brush out accumulated dirt
using round brush (wooden handle). Front Cover is
washable with soap and water. Return the Front Cover
after cleaning.
4. How to clean the Body: wipe it using damp cloth.
