2. Verschlu nach Ausbau des Sensorsß
Sie können bei Bedarf den Viton-
O-Ring (B) ersetzen durch den
mitgelieferten EPDM-O-Ring.
• Fetten Sie Gewinde und
Dichtflächen von Stopfen und
Adapter mit Schmierpaste ein.
• Dichtring (A) und O-Ring (B)
müssen sich an ihren Plätzen
befinden, damit der Verschluß
abgedichtet ist.
• Schrauben Sie den Stopfen in
den Adapter ein. Vermeiden
Sie dabei Beschädigungen der
Dichtflächen.
• Ziehen Sie den Stopfen fest,
bis der Anschlag spürbar ist.

Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Der Stopfen dient als Verschluß von G¾-Adaptern.
1. Verschluß während des Einschweißens: Schutz gegen Verzug und
Beschädigung des Gewindes durch Schweißschlacke o. ä.
2. Verschluß nach Ausbau des Sensors.

• Entfernen Sie Dichtring (A)
und O-Ring (B) (andernfalls
werden sie durch die
Hitzeeinwirkung des Schweiß-
vorgangs beschädigt).
• Schrauben Sie den Stopfen in
den Adapter ein. Vermeiden
Sie dabei Beschädigungen der
Dichtflächen.
• Ziehen Sie den Stopfen fest,
bis der Anschlag spürbar ist.

2. Closure following removal of the sensor.
You can replace the Viton O-ring
(B) by the supplied EPDM O-ring.
•Grease the thread and sealing
area of plug and adapter with
greasing paste.
•The sealing O-ring (A) and the
O-ring (B) must be correctly
positioned to ensure optimum
sealing.
•Screw the plug into the
adapter. Avoid damage to the
sealing areas.
•Tighten the plug until you can
feel the end stop.

Function and features
The plug is used in conjunction with G adapters for:¾
1. Protection of the adapter during welding: protection against warp
or damage to the thread by weld slag or similar.
2. Closure following removal of the sensor.

•Remove the sealing O-ring (A)
and the O-ring (B) (to avoid
head damage during weld-
ing).
•Screw the plug into the
adapter. Avoid mechanical
influence on the sealing cham-
fers.
•Tighten the plug until you can
feel the end stop.
