IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
2. Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that acted on the appliance.
3. Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use. Keep out of reach of
children or incompetent persons.
4. Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these
instructions.
5. Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
6. Unplug unit from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before
putting on or taking off parts, d before cleaning the appliance. an
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance
malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner, return appliance to the
nearest authorized service facility, for examination ,repair or adjustment.
8. Never use the appliance outside and always place in a dry environment.
9. Never use accessories which are not recommended by the producer. They could
constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
10. Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get
caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
11. Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface.
12. Only use fresh(potable)and cold(moderate)water. Do not use water contained in
bathtubs, washbasins or other recipients.
13. Make sure the cord never comes into contact with the hot parts of the appliance.
14. Never touch the hot parts of the appliance(be careful, also the warming plate is a
hot part!).only touch the plastic parts and the jug by the handle.
15. Be careful not to get burned by the steam evaporating form the coffee filter.
16. Never use the appliance if the jug shows any signs of cracks. Only use the jug
with this appliance. Handle with care as the glass is very fragile.
17. Never use your coffee machine without water in it. If you have a programmable
coffee machine, make sure to fill it with water before programming it.
18. Never place the empty (or almost empty) coffeepot on the hotplate when the
coffee machine is unfunction, or on any other hot surfaces.
19. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To
disconnect turn any control to “off”, then remove plug from wall outlet.
20. Do not use coffee machine with a damaged outlet.
21. Do not forget that the temperature of the coffee prepared is high. Handle with care
your coffeepot to avoid any risk of splashes.
22. Any examination, repair, or adjustment for the appliance should be made by the
authorized service agent.
23. Save this instruction for future use.
24. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
OPERATION
1. Uncover the top cover and fill clean water to required level.
2. Put adequate quantity of coffee powder or tealeaves in the filter cone.
3. Place the carafe on the hot plate.
4. Place the tundish with the filter cone in the tundish support.
5. Close the top cover.
6. Switch on, the indicator lamp will light up and the machine begin working.
7. After boiling, when no water in tank if you keep switch on and the carafe on
heating plate, this will remain the coffee or tea warm. The water in carafe can be
warm at: a.above 75 in half an hour. b.above 70 in an hour. ℃ ℃
CONTROL PANEL OPERATION
1. The LCD displays time, 12.00 by default on the first connection.
Press once the "ON / OFF" button "RUN" will light up and you can set the clock.
Set the clock:
A) Press once the "PROG" button, the screen will display "CLOCK", then you can set
the clock. Press "HOUR" This will change the hour. To speed up, you can hold the
"HOUR" button pressed, otherwise the time forward one hour each time you press the
button.
B) For minutes, just press the button "MIN". The operation is identical to that for hours.
2. C) After setting the time, press "PROG" until "CLOCK" disappears from the screen.
3. AUTO Programming:
If you press twice on the "ON / OFF" button instead of "RUN", the LED "AUTO" will
light.
Automatic programming:
(A) Press twice the "PROG" button, the display shows "TIMER". Sever then the time
("HOUR") and minutes ("MIN"). After the selected time, press "PROG" and the word
"TIMER" disappear.
(B) The unit will automatically start at the scheduled time.
