Please read the instructions carefully and keep the manual for future information.
This manual is designed to give all necessary instructions concerning installation, use and maintenance of the
unit. In order to operate the unit correctly and safely, please read this instruction manual carefully before
installation and use.

3. SAFETY MEASURES
GENERAL
When using electrical appliances. Basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating label of the toaster.
3. Do not touch the hot surface. Use handles or knobs only.
4. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or any part of the toaster in water or other
liquid.
5. Close supervision is necessary when it is used by or near children.
6. Unplug unit from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow it to cool before putting on or taking
off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been
damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair,
or adjustment.
8. Do not let the cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surface.
9. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
10. Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
11. Oversize food, metal foil packages or utensils must not be inserted in the toaster as they may cause fire
or electric shock.
12. Bread may burn, toasters must not be used near or below curtains and other combustible materials so
and must be watched.
13. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
14. Do not attempt to dislodge food when toaster is plugged in.
15. Be sure to take the bread out carefully after toasting to avoid injuries

19. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control
system.

not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are
older than 8 and supervised.
28. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
29. The surfaces are liable to get hot during use.
30. The door or the outer surface may get hot when the appliance is operating.
31. The bread may burn, therefore do not use the toaster near or below combustible material, such as
curtains.

The marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord or extension cord should be at
least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance, and.
The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can
be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.
