Il cronotermostato prevede tre differenti modalità di funzionamento:
- AUTOMATICO
- MANUALE
- OFF/ANTIGELO / PROTEZIONE ALTE TEMPERATURE
Per commutare da una modalità all’altra si usa il tasto MODE.
Nel il cronotermostato uti-funzionamento automatico
lizza un programma impostabile dall’utente che può an-
che essere differenziato per ogni giorno della settimana.
Sul display appaiono la scritta AUTO, la temperatura am-
biente misurata, ed il simbolo di set point relativo al
quarto d’ora corrente.
Nel profilo orario lampeggia la colonnina relativa all’ora
corrente con la rappresentazione del set point attivo.
Nel il cronotermostato utilizzafunzionamento manuale
permanentemente un set point di temperatura, che può
essere liberamente impostato tramite i tasti .
Sul display appaiono la scritta MAN e la temperatura am-
biente misurata.
I funzionamenti antigelo/protezione alte temperature
sono attivi, rispettivamente, in modalità riscaldamento e
condizionamento.
In questi due casi il cronotermostato utilizza il set point
di temperatura antigelo/protezione alte temperature che
è stato impostato.
Sul display appaiono la scritta OFF e la temperatura am-
biente misurata.

Durante il funzionamento la chiusura del contatto di uscita (attivazione del riscaldamento/
condizionamento) è segnalata nel modo seguente:

Il simbolo indica l’accensione del condizionamento.

Per eseguire l’impostazione dei parametri premere una volta il tasto SET/PROG.
Sul display appare il simbolo SET.
Contemporaneamente il simbolo o comincia a lampeggiare.
A questo punto è possibile modificare, in sequenza:
- il tipo di funzionamento condizionamento/riscaldamento
- il giorno della settimana
- ore
- minuti
- unità di misura temperatura
- Set point T1
- Set point T2
- Set point T3
- valore della temperatura antigelo/protezione alte temperature
- attivazione autoapprendimento (disponibile esclusivamente nel tipo di funzionamento
“riscaldamento”)
- valore differenziale di regolazione
Il valore di ogni parametro viene confermato alla pressione del tasto MODE.
L’uscita dalla fase di impostazione si ottiene premendo nuovamente il tasto SET o, in mo-
do automatico, dopo 30 secondi dall’ultima digitazione.

Quando il simbolo o lampeggia è possibile sele-
zionare il tipo di funzionamento con i tasti .
Per confermare premere il tasto MODE entro 30 secondi.
Impostazione del giorno della settimana
Quando la barra del giorno della settimana lampeggia,
selezionare il giorno corrente con i tasti
( , ,…, ). lunedì=1 martedì=2 domenica=7
Per confermare il valore impostato premere il tasto

Impostazione dell’ora
Quando le cifre dell’ora lampeggiano, impostare l’ora
con i tasti .

Impostazione set point T2
All’apparire del simbolo il valore di temperatura ini-
zia a lampeggiare.
Regolare il valore di T2 con i tasti .
Per confermare il valore impostato, premere il tasto MO-
DE entro 30 secondi.

All’apparire del simbolo il valore di temperatura ini-
zia a lampeggiare.
Regolare il valore di T3 con i tasti .
Per confermare il valore impostato, premere il tasto MO-
DE entro 30 secondi.
Impostazione valore temperatura antigelo/prote-
zione alte temperature
Il valore della temperatura inizia a lampeggiare.
A seconda del tipo di funzionamento (riscaldamento/
condizionamento) è possibile regolare il valore della
temperatura antigelo/protezione alte temperature
con i tasti .
Per confermare il valore impostato premere il tasto
MODE entro 30 secondi.
Tra i valori di set point esistono i seguenti vincoli:
Riscaldamento:
T
antigelo ≤ T1 ≤ T2 ≤ T3
Condizionamento: T1 ≤ T2 ≤ T3 ≤ T alta temperatura

Attivazione autoapprendimento (solo tipo funziona-
mento riscaldamento)
All’apparire del simbolo attivare (ON) o disattivare
(OFF) la funzione con i tasti .
Per confermare il valore impostato premere il tasto
MODE entro 30 secondi.
L’autoapprendimento permette di ottimizzare l’anticipo
(max 2 ore) sull’attivazione del riscaldamento.
Il cronotermostato gestisce automaticamente l’anticipo,
in modo da garantire la temperatura impostata all’inizio
di ogni periodo del profilo programmato.
Questa funzione si attiva in riscaldamento, nella sola mo-
dalità di funzionamento automatico.
Impostazione del differenziale di regolazione
All’apparire del simbolo , impostare il valore del
differenziale di regolazione con i tasti .
Per confermare il valore impostato premere il tasto
MODE entro 30 secondi.
Tale valore è differenziato per tipo di funzionamento
(riscaldamento/condizionamento) e rappresenta lo sco-
stamento fra il set point impostato e la temperatura ef-
fettiva di attivazione.
Salvo situazioni particolari si consiglia di mantenere i va-
lori preimpostati.

Per eseguire la personalizzazione del programma giornaliero preimpostato, o apportare una
modifica, premere due volte il tasto SET/PROG.
Sul display appare la scritta PROG mentre la barra del
primo giorno della settimana inizia a lampeggiare.
Selezionare il giorno desiderato con i tasti .
Per confermare la selezione premere il tasto MODE entro
30 secondi.
Dopo la conferma del giorno sul display viene visualizzato
il profilo corrente, relativo al giorno scelto. L’orario inizia a
lampeggiare. Con i tasti incrementare l’orario fino
al momento in cui si desidera modificare il profilo propo-
sto; durante l’incremento sul profilo orario lampeggia la
colonnina relativa all’orario selezionato. Per confermare la
selezione premere il tasto MODE entro 30 secondi.
Sul display lampeggia uno dei simboli , o e
appare il valore corrispondente al set point selezionato.
Con i tasti selezionare il nuovo set point, che
sarà applicato fino alla successiva variazione presente
nel programma.
Premendo nuovamente il tasto MODE è possibile
selezionare un nuovo orario a partire dal quale si può
scegliere un nuovo set point nella maniera appena
descritta.

L’orario viene decrementato/incrementato a passi di 15 minuti ad ogni pressione dei tasti
, è perciò possibile definire fino a 4 periodi di programmazione ogni ora.
Per confermare la programmazione premere prolungatamente il tasto MODE, automatica-
mente si passa alla programmazione del giorno successivo.
Copia del programma
Qualora si desideri copiare il programma sul giorno successivo, confermare la programma-
zione eseguita premendo contemporaneamente i tasti entro 30 secondi.
Al termine della programmazione settimanale premere il tasto SET/PROG per tornare al fun-
zionamento normale.
Per attivare il programma selezionare la modalità di funzionamento AUTO premendo il ta-
sto MODE fino all’apparire sul display del simbolo AUTO.
Forzatura temporanea della temperatura
In modalità di funzionamento AUTO è possibile forzare temporaneamente il set point di tem-
peratura attivo, utilizzando i tasti per impostare il valore desiderato. Confermare il
valore premendo il tasto MODE o attendere 5 secondi.
L’attivazione della forzatura viene segnalata sul display
dal lampeggio del simbolo AUTO.
La forzatura resta attiva fino alla prima variazione del
profilo presente nel programma.
In modalità di funzionamento AUTO è visualizzato il profilo orario relativo alla frazione
giornaliera in corso (AM/PM).
Premendo contemporaneamente è possibile visualizzare il profilo relativo all’al-
tra frazione giornaliera.
Tale indicazione è attiva per 5” al termine dei quali appare di nuovo il profilo corrente.

La permette di escludere temporaneamente il programma impostato funzione party
(modalità auto) o il set point manuale (modalità MAN) inserendo un set point di temperatura
diverso per un periodo compreso tra 1 e 23 ore.
Questa funzione può essere usata, ad esempio, per prolungare il periodo di comfort duran-
te una cena, una festa, ecc…
Per attivare la funzione premere per 5” il tasto MODE: sul
display appare il simbolo mentre lampeggia il valore
di set point attivo in quel momento.
Con i tasti impostare il nuovo valore del set point
di temperatura. Premendo il tasto MODE si passa all’im-
postazione del numero delle ore di attivazione che viene
visualizzato sul display. Tale regolazione si effettua tra-
mite i tasti . Premere il tasto MODE o attendere 5
secondi per confermare l’impostazione eseguita.
Quando la funzione è attiva è ancora possibile modificare il valore del set point e del pe-
riodo di attivazione in maniera identica a quanto sopra descritto.
La funzione party resta attiva fino allo scadere del periodo impostato.
Durante il funzionamento il conteggio delle ore viene decrementato.
È possibile in qualsiasi momento disattivare la , ripristinando la modalitàfunzione party
precedente, premendo 2 volte prolungatamente il tasto MODE.
La permette di escludere temporaneamente il programma settimanalefunzione holiday
impostato (modalità AUTO) o il set point manuale (modalità MAN) inserendo manualmen-
te un set point di temperatura diverso, per un periodo compreso tra 1 e 99 giorni.
Questa funzione può essere usata, ad esempio, per programmare un periodo di economia
durante una vacanza e la riattivazione del programma il giorno del rientro.

Per attivare la funzione premere prolungatamente il ta-
sto MODE (funzione PARTY), quindi premere nuovamen-
te il tasto MODE (funzione HOLIDAY). Sul display appa-
re il simbolo . Con i tasti impostare il nuovo
valore del set point di temperatura.
Premendo il tasto MODE si passa all’impostazione del
numero dei giorni di attivazione che viene visualizzato
sul display. Tale regolazione si effettua tramite i tasti
. Premere il tasto MODE o attendere 5 secondi per
confermare l’impostazione eseguita.
Quando la funzione è attiva è ancora possibile modificare il valore del set point e del perio-
do di attivazione, in maniera identica a quanto descritto.
La funzione HOLIDAY resta attiva fino allo scadere del periodo impostato.
Durante il funzionamento il conteggio dei giorni viene decrementato.
È possibile in qualsiasi momento disattivare la , ripristinando la moda-funzione holiday
lità precedente, premendo prolungatamente il tasto MODE.
Per attivare la modalità di funzionamento manuale,
premere il tasto MODE, finchè sul display appare la
scritta MAN. Il set point della temperatura inizia a lam-
peggiare per circa 2 sec. Con i tasti impostare il
valore del set point desiderato, premere il tasto MODE o
attendere 5 secondi per confermare l’impostazione.
Il display LCD è dotato di retroilluminazione che si attiva per 5” ogni qualvolta viene premuto
un tasto. In modalità SET o PROG la retroilluminazione rimane attiva durante l’impostazione
dei parametri e durante la programmazione. Viene disattivata all’uscita da tali modalità.

Il cronotermostato dispone di una connessione seriale per il collegamento con il remotizza-
tore GSM GW 90 821. Tramite comandi SMS (ad esempio da telefono cellulare) è possibile:
• impostare il tipo di funzionamento (condizionamento/riscaldamento)
• impostare la modalità di funzionamento (manuale/automatico/OFF)
• impostare il set point di funzionamento (solo modalità MAN)
• richiedere lo stato attuale
Ad ogni SMS di comando inviato al dispositivo corrisponde un SMS di conferma (con testo
predefinito non configurabile); il messaggio di richiesta stato prevede una risposta che
include le seguenti informazioni:
• tipo di funzionamento attuale (riscaldamento/condizionamento)
• modalità di funzionamento attuale (OFF/AUTO/MAN)
• temperatura di set point attualmente impostata
• temperatura ambiente misurata
• stato dell’uscita (ON/OFF)
Ogni qualvolta il tipo o la modalità di funzionamento vengono modificate tramite il remotizza-
tore sul display compare il simbolo .
Il dispositivo è dotato di batteria di back up che garantisce l’aggiornamento, in caso di
black-out, dell’ora e del giorno della settimana. Con alimentazione fornita esclusivamente
dalla batteria si ha un’autonomia di 24 ore nelle seguenti condizioni:
• visualizzazione ora attiva
• misura e visualizzazione temperatura non attiva (appaiono dei trattini)
• retroilluminazione non attiva
• commutazione relè non abilitata (il contatto del relè viene aperto)
• tasti frontali non attivi (ad esclusione della pressione contemporanea di tutti i quattro tasti)
In assenza di alimentazione la pressione contemporanea di tutti e quattro i tasti frontali pro-
voca la sconnessione, internamente al dispositivo, della batteria di backup. Questa funzio-
ne viene utilizzata per preservare l’efficienza della batteria quando il dispositivo non viene
utilizzato per un lungo periodo. La batteria viene nuovamente collegata automaticamente
una volta connesso il dispositivo alla rete elettrica. I programmi impostati non vengono per-
si ne’ in caso di black out ne’ in caso di disconnessione della batteria.

Montaggio
Premendo contemporaneamente i 4 tasti con tensione di rete presente, si effettua un re-
set completo del cronotermostato.
Attenzione: tutti i parametri impostati ed i programmi personalizzati vengono can-
cellati.
Alla riaccensione, il cronotermostato utilizza i parametri ed i programmi preimpostati in fab-
brica. Il cronotermostato si pone in riscaldamento, nella modalità OFF.
Le funzioni Party e Holiday non sono attive.

In caso di necessità (ad esempio dovendo smaltire il dispo-
sitivo, secondo quanto prescritto dalle norme WEEE) la bat-
teria del cronotermostato è accessibile rimuovendo il coper-
chietto come indicato in figura A.

General description
The time-thermostat manages ambient temperature control and control of the boilers, zone
valves, conditioning units, fan-coils, etc. through a relay output.
The time-thermostat is fitted with a backlighted LCD VDU and four control buttons.

The time-thermostat provides three different operating modes:

During operation the closing of the output contact (heating/air conditioning activation) is

- the day of the week
- hours

- antifreeze/high temperature protection temperature value
- self-learning activation (only available in “heating” operating mode)
- differential regulation value
The value of each parameter is confirmed by pressing the MODE key.
Exit from the setting phase is done by pressing the SET key again or, automatically, 30 sec-
onds after the last key entry.

the operating type using the keys.

There are the following constraints for the set point val-
ues: Heating: T antifreeze < T1 < T2 < T3 –
Air conditioning: T1 < T2 < T3 < T high temperature

Activating self-learning (heating operating type only)
When the symbol appears, activate (ON) or deacti-
vate (OFF) the function using the keys.
Press the MODE key within 30 seconds to confirm the
value set.
Self-learning is used to optimise the advance (max. 2
hours) for activating the heating.
The time-thermostat manages the advance automati-
cally, so as to guarantee the set temperature at the be-
ginning of every period of the programmed profile.
This function is activated in heating, in automatic oper-
ating mode only.
Setting the differential regulation value
When the symbol appears, set the differential reg-
ulation value using the keys.
Press the MODE key within 30 seconds to confirm the
value set.
This value is differentiated by operation type (heating/
air conditioning) and represents the displacement be-
tween the set point set and the actual activation tem-
perature.
It is recommended to retain the preset values except in
special situations.

Press the SET/PROG key twice to personalise the preset daily program or modify it.
The message “PROG” is displayed on the VDU, while the
bar of the first day of the week starts to blink. Select the
required day using the keys.
Press the MODE key within 30 seconds to confirm the
selection.
After confirmation of the day, the current profile, relative
to the day selected, is displayed on the VDU.
The time will start to blink. Use the keys to incre-
ment the time until the time for modifying the proposed
profile is reached: the column relative to the time select-
ed will blink during the increment of the time profile.
Press the MODE key within 30 seconds to confirm the
selection.
One of the symbols, , or will blink on the VDU
and the value corresponding to the selected set point is
displayed.
The keys are then used to select the new set
point, which will be applied up to the next variation pre-
sent in the program.
Pressing the MODE key again makes it possible to select
another time, starting from which a new set point can be
selected in the way just described.
Personalising the daily program

The time is decremented/incremented in steps of 15 minutes each time the keys
are pressed, so it is possible to define up to 4 programming periods each hour.
Press the MODE key for an extended period to confirm the programming, there will be an
automatic move to programming for the next day.
Copying the program
If it is required to copy the program to the next day, confirm the programming done by
pressing the keys simultaneously within 30 seconds.
Press the SET/PROG key on completion of weekly programming to return to normal op-
erating.
To activate the program, select AUTO operating mode by pressing the MODE key until the
message “AUTO” is displayed on the VDU.
Temporary temperature forcing
It is possible to temporarily force the active temperat ure set point in AUTO operating
mode by using the keys to set the required value. Confirm the value by pressing
the MODE key or waiting for 5 seconds.
Activation of the forcing is signalled on t he VDU by the
blinking of the AUTO message.
The forcing remains active until the first variation of the
profile present in the program.
The t ime profile relative to t he fraction of the current day (AM/PM) is displayed in AUTO
operating mode.
Simultaneously pressing the keys displays the profile relative to the other fraction
of the day.
This indication is active for 5 seconds, after which the current profile reappears.

manual set point (MAN mode) by inserting a different temperature set point for a period
of between 1 and 23 hours.
This function can be used, for example, to extend the comfort period during a supper, a
party, etc.
Press the MODE key for 5 seconds to activate the func-
tion: the symbol is displayed on the VDU and the set
point value active at that time starts to blink.
The keys are used to set the new temperature
set point value.
Pressing the MODE key moves on to setting the num-
ber of hours of activation, which is displayed on the
VDU. This regulation is done using the keys.
Press the MODE key or wait 5 seconds to confirm the
setting made.
When the function is active it is still possible to modify the set point value and the peri-
od of activation in the same way as described above.
The party function remains active until the set period elapses.
The count of the hours is decremented during operation.
It is possible to deactivate the at any time, restoring the previous mode,party function
by pressing the MODE key twice for an extended period.

This function can be used, for example, to program an economy period during a holiday
and reactivating the program on the day of return.

The keys are used to set the new temperature

played on the VDU.
This regulation is done using the keys.
Press t he MODE key or wait 5 seconds to confirm the
setting made.
When the function is active it is still possible to modify the set point and the period of ac-
tivation value in the same way as described above. The HOLIDAY function remains active
until the set period elapses. The count of the days is decremented during operation. It is
possible to deactivate the at any time, restoring the previous mode, byholiday function
pressing the MODE key for an extended period.
To activate manual operating mode the MODE key is
pressed until the message “MAN” is displayed on the
VDU. The t emperature set point begins to blink for
about 2 seconds. The keys are used to set the re-
quired set point value. Press the MODE key or wait 5
seconds to confirm the setting.
The LCD VDU is equipped with backlighting that is active for 5 seconds whenever a key
is pressed. In SET or PROG modes the backlighting remains active during parameter set-
ting and during programming. It is deactivated on exit from these modes.

The time-thermostat has a serial connection for connecting to the GSM GW 90 821 remote
control unit. Using SMS command (e.g. from a cellular telephone) it is possible to:
• set the type of operation (air conditioning/heating)
• set the operating mode (manual/automatic/OFF)
• set the operating set point (MAN mode only)
• request the current status
The device replies to each command SMS sent with a confirmatory SMS (with a predefined,
non-configurable text); the status request message will generate a reply that includes the
following information:
• current type of operation (heating/air conditioning)
• current operating mode (OFF/AUTO/MAN)
• currently set set point temperature
• measured ambient temperature
• output status (ON/OFF)
The symbol is displayed on the VDU whenever the operating type or mode are modified
using the remote control unit.
The device is fitted with a backup battery that guarantees updating of the time and the day
of the week in the case of a blackout. There is an autonomy of 24 hours under the follow-
ing conditions when the power supply is provided exclusively by the battery:
• display time active
• measure and temperature display not active (dashes are displayed)
• backlighting not active
• relay switching not enabled (the relay contact is open)
• front keys not active (except the simultaneous pressing of all four keys). In the absence
of the power supply the simultaneous pressing of all four front keys causes disconnec-
tion of the backup battery inside the device.
This function is used to conserve the efficiency of the battery when the device is not used
for a long period. The battery is automatically reconnected once the device is connected to
the electricity mains network. The set programs are not lost either in the case of a black-
out or in the case of battery disconnection.

Assembly
Pressing the 4 keys simultaneously with mains power present performs a complete reset of the
timer-thermostat.
N.B.: all parameters set and personalized programs will be cancelled.
When the timer-thermostat is switched on again, it uses the parameters and programs
preset in the factory. The timer-thermostat goes into heating in OFF mode.
The Party and Holiday functions are not active.

Le chronothermostat gère le contrôle de la température ambiante et la commande de
chaudières, vannes de zone, climatiseurs, fan-coils, etc., grâce à une sortie à relais.

Le chronothermostat prévoit trois modes de fonctionnement différents :
- AUTOMATIQUE
- MANUEL
- OFF/ANTIGEL / PROTECTION HAUTES TEMPÉRATURES
Pour commuter d’un mode à un autre on utilise la touche MODE.
Dans le , le chronother-fonctionnement automatique
mostat utilise un programme programmable par l’utili-
sateur, qui peut même être différencié pour chaque jour
de la semaine. Sur l’afficheur apparaissent la parole
AUTO, la température ambiante mesurée, et le symbole
de set-point relatif au quart d’heure courant.
Dans le profil horaire, la petite colonne relative à l'heure
courante clignote, ainsi que la représentation du set
point activé.
Dans le , le chronothermostatfonctionnement manuel
utilise de façon permanente un set-point de température
que l’on peut programmer librement en agissant sur les
touches .
Sur l’afficheur apparaissent la parole MAN et la tempé-
rature ambiante mesurée.
Les fonctionnements antigel / protection hautes tem-
pératures sont actifs, respectivement, dans les modali-
tés chauffage et climatisation.
Dans ces deux cas, le chronothermostat utilise le set-
point de température antigel / protection hautes tempé-
ratures qui a été programmé. Sur l’afficheur apparais-
sent la parole OFF et la température ambiante mesurée.
