de votre produit, nous vous consei ns de lire les instructions de ce livret puis de le conserver llo
soigneusement pour vous y référer ultérieurement.
Avertissement
L’écoute prolongée à fort niveau au-delà de 110 dB peut détériorer durablement l’audition.
Des écoutes même brèves à plus de 130 dB peuvent provoquer des lésions auditives irrémédiables.
Recommandations importantes
Avant tout, vérifiez l’espace disponible pour l’encastrement des haut-parleurs (se reporter aux plans sur
l’emballage) puis procédez aux découpes. Dans le cas d’un montage en emplacement d’origine, vérifiez
qu’il y ait un espace suffisant entre le haut-parleur et la grille de protection.
• Tenir les haut-parleurs à l’écart des copeaux métalliques et des poussières.
• Procédez à un nettoyage soigneux avant de monter les haut-parleurs.
Période de rodage
Les haut-parleurs sont des éléments mécaniques complexes qui exigent une période d’adaptation pour
fonctionner au maximum de leurs possibilités et s’adapter aux conditions de température et d’humidité de
votre environnement. Cette période de rodage varie selon les conditions rencontrées et peut se prolonger
sur quelques semaines. Pour accélérer cette opération, nous vous conseillons de faire fonctionner vos
haut-parleurs une vingtaine d’heures à niveau moyen, sur des programmes musicaux riches en grave. Une
fois les caractéristiques des haut-parleurs totalement stabilisées, vous pourrez profiter intégralement des
performances de votre kit de haut-parleurs.
Conditions de garantie
En cas de problème, adressez-vous à votre revendeur Focal.
La garantie pour la France sur tout matériel Focal est de 2 ans, non transmissible en cas de revente, à partir
de la date d’achat. En cas de matériel défectueux, celui-ci doit être expédié à vos frais, dans son emballage
d’origine auprès du revendeur, lequel analysera le matériel et déterminera la nature de la panne. Si celui-ci
est sous garantie, le matériel vous sera rendu ou remplacé. Dans le cas contraire, un devis de réparation
vous sera proposé.
La garantie ne couvre pas les dommages résultant d’une mauvaise utilisation ou d’un branchement
incorrect (bobines mobiles brûlées par exemple...).
En dehors de la France, le matériel Focal est couvert par une garantie dont les conditions sont fixées
localement par le distributeur officiel FOCAL JMLab de chaque pays, en accord avec les lois en vigueur
sur le territoire concerné.

and true. To get the most out of your product, we recommend that you read the instructions in this
booklet, then store it in a safe place to refer to in the future.
Warning
Continuous listening at high sound level (above 110dB) can durably damage your hearing.
Listening above 130dB can damage your hearing permanently.
Important recommendations
Before attempting any installation, check first how much space is available to fit the speakers into the vehicle
(Cf plans on the packaging), then proceed with the cutting. In the case of assembly in original location,
check that there is enough space between the speaker and the protection grille.
• Ensure the speaker is clean from debris and metallic particles that maybe attached (especially after
drilling).
• Clean before mounting the speakers.
Running period
To ensure such complex mechanical elements work in harmony with each other, they must be allowed to
function correctly in this environment. Changes in temperature and humidity are regarded as very hostile.
In order to get the best of your speakers, a running-in period must be respected to ensure they are ready
for this. We recommend that, once the system is ready for listening, the drive units should be run-in with
medium volume setting, with music that has the full bandwidth of frequencies (sub-bass through treble).
This running-in period should last for a few weeks, to gain the full potential. After which the excellent
performance of your speakers kit can be fully appreciated.
Warranty terms and conditions
In the event of a problem, please contact your Focal dealer.
The warranty for France on any Focal equipment is 2 years, non-transferable in the event of resale, from
the date of purchase. In the event of faulty equipment, you must send it in its original packaging and at
your own expense to the dealer, who will analyse the equipment and determine the nature of the fault. If
it is under warranty, the equipment will be returned to you or replaced. Otherwise, you will be offered an
estimate for repair.
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from inappropriate use or incorrect wiring (burnt out voice-
coils, for example). Outside France, Focal equipment is covered by a warranty for which the terms and
conditions are determined locally by the official FOCAL-JMLab distributor for each country, in accordance
with the laws in force in the region in question.
