1.1. Identifying the parts
Backlit LCD Display
Microphone
Green LED
— AC Power Indicator; the Green LED
will light up when AC Power is on.
Yellow LED
— Fault Indicator; the Yellow LED will
light up when any fault situation is
detected and turn o when all fault
conditions are restored.
Numeric Keys
Key
— In Programming mode, press this key
to move the cursor and scroll the
display upwards
Key
— In Programming mode, press this key
to move the cursor and scroll the
display downwards.
Key
— In Programming mode, use this key
for deleting a digit, canceling the
selection, aborting the current screen
and returning to the previous screen
etc.
OK Key
— To conrm the keyed-in data or
conrm the selection.
# Key
— To enter the Programming menu
— For Telephone Number Setting; The
system will dial as it is entered.
Key
— For Telephone Number Setting; it
represent 3-second delay when
dialing.
Buzzer
DC J ack
— For connecting the DC 9V power
adapter.
Phone Jack Marked Line
— This jack is for the connection to the
phone line from the wall.
Phone Jack Marked Phone
— This jack is for the connection to
the telephone unit.
