Thank you for purchasing a Canon product.
•
To
recharge this battery, use Battery Charger
LC-E101LC-E10E.
• This battery pack is not fully recharged upon factory
shipment. Recharge it before using.
• When storing the battery, attach the protective cover to
prevent the electrical contacts from shorting.
• "Also read Tips for Using the Battery and Charger" in the
camera's instruction manual.

and +40oC/104°F.

battery is charged outside this temperature
range, the battery may leak, overheat,

or
a
burning smell, as this
may
result in a fire
or
injury. While taking
care not to burn yourself, remove the battery from the camera and
contact your dealer

local Canon service facility.
• Never charge the battery with a charger other than the Canon
Battery Charger LC-E10/ -LC E10E. This could result in the battery
leaking, overheating,
or
being damaged and causing a fire, burns
or
other injuries.
• Never disassemble
or
attempt to modify the Battery Pack LP- . E10
Refer all repairs
or
internal inspections to your dealer
or
nearest
Canon service facility.
• Do not place the battery in a dusty
or
humid location. This could
result
in
electric shock, the battery overheating or a . fire hazard
• Never short the terminal on the battery. This could result in the
battery leaking, overheating,
or
being damaged and causing burns
or
other injuries. Always attach the protective cover when storing the
battery, to prevent shorting.

the battery pack leaks, be careful that battery fluid does not

your skin or clothes. The battery fluid can cause burns

completely off with clean water immediately.

not store in cold environments. The product itself can become
cold and cause an injury when it is touched.
