Congratulations on the purchase of your Buccan Salt & Pepper
Grinder set.
Read this manual carefully to understand how to use the
appliance. Keep this manual for future reference, as it contains
important information.
DESCRIPTION
This easy to operate electric pepper and salt mill with light is
made of stainless steel combined with plastic.
The mill runs on 6 AAA batteries (not included) and is
illuminated when in use. The grinding fineness is adjustable
from coarse to very fine.

INSTRUCTIONS
1) Unscrew the top part from the grinder; by turning it
counterclockwise. Install the 6 AAA batteries (not included)
as shown
2) Gently pull the battery unit upwards out of the salt and
pepper mill (Note: Do not turn!)
3) Fill the bottom part of the mill with (dry) peppercorns or
coarse salt. The grinder is not suitable for rock salt.
4) For optimum use, the reservoir must remain filled to approx.
80%.
5) With the adjusting screw at the bottom of the base you can
adjust how fine the grind becomes
6) Tighten the set screw to grind finer; make sure that the set
screw is not screwed in completely. There is a chance that
the motor will get stuck because the mill can no longer
rotate.
7) If the grinder gets stuck during grinding, just shake it to
loosen the salt or pepper
8) Start and stop grinding with the button on top of the grinder.
As soon as this button is pressed, the lamp lights up.
9) Keep the grinder clean and avoid direct contact with water.
10) With a slightly damp cloth, you can wipe the outside of the
grinder to remove stains, etc.
WARNING
Never fully tighten the set screw at the bottom of the base.

BESCHRIJVING
Deze eenvoudig te bedienen elektrische peper- en zoutmolen
met lampje is vervaardigd uit rvs gecombineerd met kunststof.
De molen werkt op 6 AAA batterijen (niet inbegrepen) en wordt
verlicht als deze in gebruik is. De maalfijnheid is instelbaar van
grof tot zeer fijn.

GEBRUIKSAANWIJZING
1) Draai het bovenste deel los van de molen; door het linksom
te draaien. Plaats de 6 AAA batterijen (niet inbegrepen) zoals
aangegeven
2) Trek de batterijeenheid voorzichtig naar boven uit de peper-
en zoutmolen (Let op: Niet draaien!)
3) Vul het onderste deel van de molen met (droge) peperkorrels
of grof zout. Het maalwerk is niet geschikt voor steenzout.
4) Voor een optimaal gebruik moet het reservoir tot ca. 80%
gevuld blijven.
5) Met de stelschroef onderaan de basis kan worden ingesteld
hoe fijn de maling wordt
6) Draai de stelschroef aan om fijner te malen; let op dat de
stelschroef niet helemaal vast wordt geschroefd. De kans
betstaat dan dat de motor vast gaat lopen omdat de molen
niet meer kan draaien.
7) Wanneer de molen vastloopt tijdens het malen volstaat het
om even te schudden zodat de peper of het zout loskomt
8) Met de knop boven op de molen start en stopt u het malen.
Zodra deze knop is ingedrukt gaat het lampje branden.
9) Houd de molen schoon en vermijd direct contact met water.
10) Met een licht vochtige doek kunt u de buitenzijde van de
molen afnemen om vlekken e.d. af te nemen.
WAARSCHUWING
Draai de stelschroef onderaan de basis nooit helemaal vast.

LA DESCRIPTION
Ce moulin à poivre et à sel électrique facile à utiliser avec
lumière est en acier inoxydable combiné avec du plastique.
Le moulin fonctionne avec 6 piles AAA (non incluses) et est
illuminé lors de son utilisation. La finesse de broyage est
réglable de grossière à très fine.

MANUEL D’UTILISATION
1) Dévissez la partie supérieure du broyeur; en le tournant dans
le sens antihoraire. Installez les 6 piles AAA (non incluses)
comme indiqué
2) Tirez doucement la batterie vers le haut hors du moulin à sel
et à poivre (Remarque: ne tournez pas!)
3) Remplissez la partie inférieure du moulin de grains de poivre
(secs) ou de gros sel. Le broyeur n’est pas adapté au sel
gemme.
4) Pour une utilisation optimale, le réservoir doit rester rempli à
environ 80%.
5) Avec la vis de réglage au bas de la base, vous pouvez régler
la finesse de la mouture
6) Serrez la vis de réglage pour moudre plus finement; assurez-
vous que la vis de réglage n’est pas complètement vissée. Il
est possible que le moteur se coince car le broyeur ne peut
plus tourner.
7) Si le moulin se coince pendant le broyage, il suffit de le
secouer pour desserrer le sel ou le poivre
8) Commencez et arrêtez le broyage avec le bouton sur le
dessus du broyeur. Dès que ce bouton est enfoncé, la
lampe s’allume.
9) Gardez le broyeur propre et évitez tout contact direct avec
l’eau.
10) Avec un chiffon légèrement humide, vous pouvez essuyer
l’extérieur du broyeur pour éliminer les taches, etc.
ATTENTION
Ne serrez jamais complètement la vis de réglage au bas de la
base.
