A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping
over a longer cord. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this appliance, but if
one must be used:
− The marked electrical rating must be at least as great as that of the appliance.
− If the appliance 3-is of a prong grounding type, the extension cord must be a grounding-
type 3-wire cord.
− Arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop
