OVERVIEW

The Audix ADS48 is a wide range UHF antenna distribution system that combines up to

four wireless systems to be able to run oﬀ a single pair of antennas and power supply.

The ADS48 has an internal switching power supply which eliminates the need for the

individual DC power supplies normally needed for each receiver. RF signals are internally

ampliﬁed in order to compensate for any loss that may result from splitting the signal.

SUPPLIED ACCESSORIES

1 x ADS48 Antenna Distribution Unit with rack mount

2 x Antennas - (see photo A below)

1 x IEC power cable

4 x Power Jumper Cables to provide power to individual receivers - (see photo B below)

8 x BNC-to-BNC Coaxial Cables for pass through connection for up to

4 additional receivers (single or dual) - (see photo C below)

2 x Coaxial cables for front mounting antennas - (see photo D below)

FRONT MOUNTING ANTENNAS (Do this step before installing in rack)

A. Remove the hex nut from the threaded end of the front mount

antenna cable.

B. Insert the end of the front mounting cable through the back side of the

rack hole. Note that the hole is slotted on one side – it can only go in one

way. Screw on the hex nut to secure.

C. Attach the antenna cable on the left side to antenna A INPUT and the

cable on the right side of the unit to antenna B INPUT. Install the ADS48 into

the rack. (See B and F below)

This microphone is under warranty for a period of 1 year to be free of defects in material and workmanship. In the event of a product failure due to materials or

workmanship, Audix will repair or replace said product at no charge with proof of purchase. Audix does not pay or reimburse shipping costs for warranty repairs or returns. The warranty excludes

any causes other than manufacturing defects, such as normal wear, abuse, environmental damage, shipping damage or failure to use or maintain the product per the supplied instructions. No

Implied Warranties: All implied warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and ﬁtness for a particular purpose are hereby excluded. The liability of Audix, if any,

for damages relating to allegedly defective products shall be limited to the actual price paid by Dealer for such products and shall in no event include incidental or consequential damages of

any kind. Should your microphone fail in any way, please contact the Audix Service department at 503.682.6933. A Return Authorization is required before returning any product. OTHER THAN

THIS WARRANTY, AUDIX MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS, THE USE OF THE PRODUCTS, THE PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCTS. AUDIX SHALL
