and warnings.

instructions in this manual.

Unplug the appliance from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to

Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. If you experience any
problems with your appliance, unplug it immediately from the electrical outlet. For

The use of accessory attachments not recommended by West Bend may cause
re, electric shock, or injury to persons.
Do not use this appliance outdoors.
Do not let cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch hot surfaces.

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce

recommended, if you must use one, the marked electrical rating of the detachable
power-supply cord or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical
rating of the appliance. If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension
cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord. The cord should be arranged so that
it will not hang over the counter top or tabletop where it can be pulled by children
or tripped over.
Do not remove any part of the coeemaker during the brew cycle as scalding
could occur.
Do not move an appliance containing hot water, coee or other hot liquids.
Do not rell the water reservoir while the appliance is on. Allow the appliance to
turn o and cool before relling with water.

Make sure a cup suitable for hot liquids is in place when brewing. If a cup is not in
place hot water or hot coee will overow.
Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing cycles.
Always use the proper grind of coee. Too ne of a grind could clog the lter and
cause hot water or hot coee to overow.
Do not attempt to repair this appliance yourself.

Please check all packaging material carefully before discarding. Many
accessory parts are contained within the packaging material.
Before using your Single-Serve Coee Maker, clean the entire appliance according
to the cleaning instructions. Wash the reusable brew cup and cup holder in warm,
soapy water, rinse thoroughly and dry. If desired, wipe the exterior of the coee
maker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not wash any parts in the dishwasher and Note:
do not immerse the coee maker in water or any other liquid. This may permanently
damage the product and void the warranty.
To remove any manufacturing resid that may reside in the appliance, we ues
recommend running at least one full brew cycle of water and discarding the water
when complete.

surface, away from any edge.
