Well now with the Uniden Crash Cam App you can record all the events, as
they happen, in the case of an accident. Uniden offers the latest in vehicle
accident recording ‘black box’ technology, allowing anyone with a
smartphone to instantly have a ‘crash cam’ in their car, at the ready.
With your smartphone mounted on the inside of the windscreen, the Crash Cam
App automatically detects any sudden, or abrupt changes in car movement
through its G-Sensor and immediately records the footage on your smartphone.
The recorder can also loop record, which makes a continuous recording of
events. This footage can then be used as evidence of who is at fault, in the case
of an accident, to police and insurance companies.
The Uniden Crash Cam App also geotags the location of the incident and has
the ability to share video and images instantly through social networks, including
Facebook and Twitter, as well as emailing. The recorded footage can even tell
you the maximum and average speeds your vehicle was travelling with date and
time stamps. Built into the App is a camera button, allowing you to take
photographs after an incident, as further evidence to support your version of
events.
This Uniden Crash Cam app is ideal for all drivers – daily commuters, taxi
drivers, truck drivers, 4WD enthusiasts, or parents wishing to monitor the safety
of younger drivers.

UNIDEN “CRASH CAM” APP TERMS OF USE
Introduction
These are the terms on which Uniden Australia Pty Ltd ABN 58 001 865 498 (“Uniden
Aust”) is willing to grant you a licence to install and use its “CrashCam” application
(“the App”) on your mobile phone device (“Device”).
By purchasing and installing the application on your Device, you confirm to Uniden
Aust that you accept these terms.
Property Rights
All ownership rights to the App belong to Uniden Aust and your right to install and use
the App on your Device is limited to a personal, non-transferrable licence.
You will not make any attempt to decompile or reverse engineer the App.
Suitability for Intended Use
Before downloading and installing the App, you have acquainted and satisfied yourself
with the operating specifications for the App as set out on the Uniden Aust website.
Using the App on your Device
You acknowledge that you have read the Uniden Aust safety warning that is visible
when starting the App and that you will have no right of action or claim for
compensation of any nature against Uniden Aust arising from any matter referred to in
the safety warning.
You also acknowledge that you will have no right of action or claim against Uniden
Aust if any film footage is overwritten and/or data is not saved on your Device, due to
the recording capacity of your Device being exceeded or for any other reason.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales.

illegal to use any mobile phone device while driving a motor vehicle. Therefore, Uniden recommends that
you set up (or make any adjustments to) this App on your mobile phone device prior to driving any motor
vehicle.
By downloading and using this App, you agree and acknowledge that:
1. Uniden gives no guarantee or warranty that any footage recorded by this App on your mobile
phone device will be admissible as evidence in any civil or criminal legal proceedings that may
follow as a result of any incident in which you may be involved while driving a motor vehicle; and
2. Uniden will not be responsible for any death, injury, financial loss and/or property damage
(including damage to your or any other vehicle) or for any fines and penalties that you may incur if
you choose to disregard this warning.
