INTRODUZIONE
Il WM 9250 S è un diffusore a 2 vie progettato per il
montaggio a parete o contro soffi tto.
Lo scopo del presente manuale è offrire all’installatore,
professionista o no, le informazioni di base per un corretto
montaggio.
Nel caso comunque si presentino problemi relativi ed
aspetti non trattati nel manuale, è necessario rivolgersi
al rivenditore.
DESCRIZIONE
Il diffusore WM 9250 S è realizzato con altoparlanti in
polipropilene ed in mylar, che assicurano una elevata
dinamica, propria delle sorgenti digitali attuali, e con-
temporaneamente la resistenza all'acqua e all'umidità,
indispensabile dato il tipo particolare di montaggio.
Per ottenere prestazioni elevate non è necessaria la ca-
mera acustica posteriore, di diffi cile, se non impossibile,
realizzazione in molti tipi di installazione. La struttura del
modello è in ABS bianco, resistente a fonti di calore fi no
a 120°C. La griglia metallica è smontabile. Sia la struttura
che la griglia sono verniciabili, per un migliore inserimento
in qualunque ambiente.
POSIZIONAMENTO DIFFUSORI
Per la scelta del punto in cui installare i diffusori è bene
attenersi ad alcune semplici regole:
1. Scegliete il punto di installazione tenendo conto sia
della possibilità di un facile montaggio che della resa
sonora.
2. Evitate l’installazione su pareti o soffi tti soggetti a
infi ltrazioni d’acqua.
3. L’installazione su controsoffi tti o su pareti in cartongesso
è indicata solo per la diffusione di musica di sotto-
fondo. Data l’alta potenza di questi diffusori, durante
il funzionamento ad alto volume si producono delle
vibrazioni che possono danneggiare il cartongesso o
i controsoffi tti.
4. Nel caso di installazioni a parete è bene posizionare i
diffusori alla stessa altezza, possibilmente con il tweeter
all’altezza dell’orecchio dell’ascoltatore.
5. Il punto di installazione ottimale varia a seconda della
planimetria e del volume della stanza. È opportuno
chiedere consiglio al rivenditore.
INSTALLAZIONE E COLLEGAMENTI
1. Gli altoparlanti non saranno facilmente riposizionabili
una volta installati. Per questo, prima di iniziare l’installa-
zione è necessario considerare la corretta posizione per
utilizzare al meglio le capacità di un buon altoparlante.
Dopo aver scelto il punto in cui montare i diffusori
utilizzate la dima in cartone fornita nella confezione
per segnare il bordo del foro da praticare.
2. Praticare il foro con gli attrezzi adatti, per una profondità
di circa 10cm.
3. Per installare gli altoparlanti con supporto a "orecchie
di cane", estrarre e rimuovere la griglia dalla cornice e
svitare le viti che sono montate sulla parte anteriore
dell’altoparlante. Collegate i fi li all’altoparlante. Con la
griglia rimossa, inserire l’altoparlante nel foro di mon-
taggio. Usare un cacciavite e girare le viti lentamente in
senso orario. Sistemare le prese a ganascia del sistema
di fi ssaggio alla parete.
4. Collegate i cavi provenienti dall’amplifi catore prestando
attenzione alle polarità.
Collegare il positivo al morsetto rosso dell’altoparlante.
Collegate il negativo al morsetto nero dell’altoparlante.
5. Direzionare il tweeter al centro dell’area di ascolto e
rimontare la griglia premendola verso l’interno.
6. È consigliabile collocare dietro ai diffusori del materiale
fi broso (per esempio della lana di vetro) per ridurre le
vibrazioni e migliorare il suono.
AVVERTENZE
Per ottenere le massime prestazioni, suggeriamo l’uso
di cavi a bassa induzione e di grande sezione. Non utiliz-
zate cavi con sezione del conduttore inferiore a 1,5mm.
Nell’installazione è importante tenere conto delle norme
di sicurezza. È consigliabile ricorrere alla consulenza di un
professionista e seguire qualche semplice regola:
1. Cercate di realizzare il collegamento più corto possibile,
e comunque non superiore a 50m.
2. Evitate di mettere a contatto i cavi dei diffusori con cavi
elettrici, per evitare rumori di fondo e interferenza.
3. Accertatevi sempre che il positivo del diffusore sia
collegato al positivo dell’amplifi catore (collegamento in
fase). In caso contrario (col legamento in controfase),
le frequenze più basse non vengono riprodotte.
4. È possibile collegare più coppie di diffusori e realizzare
così un impianto di diffusione sonora in più stanze
(impianto multi-room). Il numero dei diffusori utilizzabili
dipende dall’amplifi catore utilizzato e dal tipo di collega-
mento scelto.
Rivolgetevi a un installatore professionista o al rivenditore
per la scelta dell’installazione più adeguata.

Per la regolazione del livello del tweeter è presente un
selettore (vedi fi gura).
È possibile scegliere tra 3 diversi livelli: 0/-3/+3dB.
Scegliere la confi gurazione desiderata per avere una
buona resa sonora.

INTRODUCTION
The WM 9250 S is a 2-way speaker designed for wall
mounting or ceiling.
The purpose of this manual is to provide the installer,
professional or not, the basic information for a correct
assembly.
If you still have problems and issues not covered in the
manual, you must contact your dealer.
DESCRIPTION
The speakers WM 9250 S are made with and polypropyle-
ne and mylar, that ensuring a high dynamics, in current
digital sources,
and at the same time ensure the water and moisture
resistance, indispensable, having regard to the particular
type of assembly.
To get high performance do not require rear acoustic
Chamber, that is diffi cult, if not impossible, in many kinds
of installation.
The structure of the model is in white ABS, resistant to
heat up to 120°C. The metal grid is removable. Both the
structure and the grid are paintable, for a better integration
in any environment.
SPEAKER PLACEMENT
For the choice of where to install the speakers should
follow a few simple rules:
1. Choose the installation point taking into account both
the possibility of easy installation and sound.
2. Avoid installation in walls or ceilings subject to water
infi ltration.
3. Installation on ceilings or on plasterboard walls is
indicated only for the dissemination of background
music. Due to the high power of these speakers, during
operation at high volume will produce vibrations that
can damage the drywall or countertops.
4. In the case of wall installation is a good way to position
the speakers at the same height, possibly with the
tweeter at the height of the listener's ear.
5. The optimum installation point varies depending on
the volume and fl oor plan of the room. You should ask
your dealer.
INSTALLATION AND CONNECTIONS
1. The speakers will not be easily repositioned once
installed. For this, before starting the installation you
must consider the right position to make the best use
of the skills of a good speaker. After choosing where
to mount the speakers use the supplied cardboard
template provided to mark the edge of the hole to be
drilled.
2. Drill the hole with suitable tools, to a depth of about
10cm.
3. To install the speakers with “dog ears”, extract and
remove the grille from the frame and remove the screws
that are mounted on the front of the speaker. Connect
the wires to the speaker. With the grille removed, insert
the speaker into the mounting hole. Use a screwdriver
and turn the screw slowly clockwise. Place shoe outlets
of the wall attachment.
4. Connect the cables coming from the amplifi er, paying
attention to polarity.
Connect the Red positive terminal of the speaker.
Connect the black negative terminal of the speaker.
5. Aiming the tweeter in the center of the listening area
and reassemble the grille by pressing it inwards.
6. It is advisable to place behind the speakers of fi brous
material (e.g. glass wool) to reduce vibration and
improve the sound.
WARNINGS
For maximum performance, we recommend the use of
cables with low induction and big size. Do not use cables
with conductor sizes less than 1,5mm. In the installation
it is important to take into account the safety standards.
You should rely on the advice of a professional and follow
some simple rule:
1. Try to make the connection as short as possible, and
in any case not exceeding 50m.
2. Avoid putting hot speaker wires with electrical cables,
to avoid background noise and interference.
3. Make sure that the positive of the speaker is connected
to the amplifi er’s positive (in phase connection). Other-
wise (out of phase connection), lower frequencies are
not reproduced.
4. You can link multiple loudspeaker pairs and make a
sound diffusion system in most rooms (multi-room
system). The number of speakers that can be used
depends on the amplifi er used and the type of connection
selected.
Contact a professional installer or retailer for the choice
of the most suitable installation.

the date of production printed on the product itself or
on label on product.
2. The warranty is valid only if the unit has not been
tampered with. The warranty is valid only at authorized
TREVI assistance centres, that will repair manufacturing
defects, excluded replacement of labels and removable
parts.
3. TREVI is not liable for damage to people or things
caused by the use of this unit or by the interruption in
the use of this unit.

à la suite de défauts de fabrication, à l’exclusion d’éti-
quettes, boutons de réglage et parties amovibles.
3. TREVI ne répond pas des dommages directs ou indirects
aux choses et/ou aux personnes entraînés pendant
l’usage ou la suspension d’usage de l’appareil.

TREVI-Kundendienststellen durchgeführt wurden. Die
Garantie umfaßt die Reparatur von Bauteilen, wenn

Garantie gilt hingegen nicht für Etiketten, Drucktasten,
Knöpfe und entfernbare Teile.
3. TREVI haftet nicht für direkte oder indirekte Sach- und/
oder Personenschäden, die vom Gebrauch des Gerätes

Il simbolo riportato sull’apparecchiatura indica che il rifi uto deve
essere oggetto di “raccolta separata” pertanto il prodotto non deve
essere smaltito insieme ai rifi uti urbani.
L’utente dovrà consegnare il prodotto presso gli appositi “centri di
raccolta differenziata” predisposti dalle amministrazioni comunali,
oppure consegnarlo al rivenditore contro acquisto di un nuovo prodotto.

The symbol shown on the equipment indicates that waste must be
disposed of in “separate collection” and so the product must not be
disposed of together with urban waste.
The user must take the product to special “separate waste collection
centres” provided by local government, or deliver it to the retailer
against the purchase of a new product.
Separate collection of waste and subsequent treatment, recycling
and disposal operations promotes the production of equipment with
recycled materials and limits negative effects on the environment and
on health caused by improper handling of waste.
Illegal disposal of the product leads to the enforcement of admini-
strative penalties.
