GEBRAUCHSANLEITUNG
WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
Stellen Sie niemals den leeren (oder beinah leeren) Kaffee- Teebereiter auf die Kochplatte und
Ihrer Kaffeemaschine, die unter Spannung ist, oder auf eine andere Wärmequell e.
Vergessen Sie nie, dass die Temperatur Ihrer Vorbereitung hoch ist. Benutzen Sie vorichtig Ihr
Bereiter, um jede Spritzer-Gefahr zu vermeiden.
TEEZUBEREITUNG MIT GLASSKANNE UND TEEFILTER
Füllen Sie die gewünschte Wassermenge in den Wasserbehälter, beachten Sie daß die maximale
Füllmenge bei der Benutzung der Teekanne geringer als bei der Kaffeekanne ist.
Geben Sie die gewünschte Teemenge in das Teesieb (ca. 1 Teelöffel pro Tasse)
Setzen Sie das Teesieb in die Glaskanne und schließen den Deckel der Kanne.
Stellen Sie die Teekanne auf die Heizplatte und schalten das Gerät ein.
Ein Tropf-Stop verhindert das heißes Wasser auf die Heizplatte tropft wenn Sie die Teekanne
herunternehmen. Der Tropf-Stop öffnet sich wenn Sie die Kanne auf die Heizplatte zurückstellen
PFLEGE-GEBRAUCHSHINWEISE
Je nach Wasserqualität sollte das Gerät häufiger entkalkt werden, benutzen Sie nur Entkalker,
die für Kaffeemaschinen geeignet sind.
Stellen Sie nie eine leere oder fast leere Glaskanne auf die heiße Heizplatte.
Lassen Sie das Gerät und die Glaskannen abkühlen bevor Sie, sie reinigen.
Niemals kaltes Wasser in das heiße Gerät oder die heiße Glaskanne eingießen.
Benutzen Sie keine Spülmaschine zur Reinigung der Glaskannen.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Never place the empty (or almost empty) coffeepot on the hotplate when the coffee machine is in
function, or on any other hot surfaces.
Do not forget that the temperature of the coffee prepared is high. Handle with care your coffeepot
to avoid any risk of splashes.
UK STYLE PLUG WIRING INSTRUCTIONS (IN THE UK ONLY)
This product must only be used from a 13 amp power socket. If a BS1363 approved 13 amp plug is
used, it should be fitted with a 13 amp fuse. The wires on the power cord are colour coded:
blue = neutral, brown = live, green or green & yellow = earth.
The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked N or coloured in black.
The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked L or coloured in red.
The green (& yellow) wire must be connected to the terminal marked E or coloured in green (&
yellow).
ADVICES FOR USED THE GLASS TEAPOT AND THE DIFFUSER KM 28 TPD
Pour the desired volume of water into the water tank. Check the water gauge for the max water
that can be used with the teapot It is less than the coffee maker. –
Put the required amount of tea into the diffuser (to start with, try 1 teaspoon/cup).
Place the diffuser moulding into the glass teapot and close the teapot lid. Place the teapot onto
the hotplate.
Switch on the appliance.
Wait until all water has passed through the into the glass teapot the brewing process is finished.
When you remove the teapot from the appliance, a non-drip valve will automatically operate to
stop any drops of hot water dripping onto the hotplate. Replacement of the teapot automatically
opens the non-drip valve and allows remaining hot water to filter trough into the carafe.
CARING FOR YOUR COFFEE AND TEA PERCOLATOR
Decalcifying the coffee maker prolong it’s life span. For decalcification only use products
especially made for coffee makers.
Allow the coffee maker and carafe, or glass teapot to cool down before cleaning.

Never use s-dishwasher to clean the carafe or glass teapot.
