IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or injury when
using your appliance, follow these basic precautions
Read all instructions before using the w cine ooler.
- aPlug into a grounded 3 prong outlet. Do not remove grounding prong, do not use an ad pter,
and do not use an extension cord.
cIt is recommended that a separate circuit, serving only your wine ooler, be provided. Use
receptacles that cannot be turned off by a switch or pull chain.
c Never clean wine ooler parts with flammable fluids. These fumes can create a fire hazard or
explosion.
Before proceeding with cleaning and maintenance operations, make sure the power line of the
unit is disconnected.

To ensure proper ventilation for your , the front of the unit must be completely appliance
unobstructed. Choose a well ventilated area with temperatures above - 61°F (16°C) and below
95°F (35°C). This unit must be installed in an area protected from , such as wind, the elements
rain, water spray or drips.
c The wine ooler should not be located next to ovens, grills or other sources of high heat.
c For optimum energy conservation, locate the wine ooler in the coolest area of the room, away
from heat producing appliances and out of direct sunlight.-
c The wine ooler must be installed with all electrical connections in accordance with state and
local codes. A standard electrical supply (115V AC only, 60 Hz), properly grounded in
accordance with the National Electrical Code and local codes and ordinances is required.,

The fuse (or circuit breaker) size should be 15 amps.
It is important for the to be leveled in order to work properly. You may need to make wine cooler
several adjustments to level it.
Although the unit has been tested at the factory, due to transit and storage, you should clean

the appliance before use.
-Do not use solvent based cleaning agents o abrasives on the interior. These cleaners may r
damage or discolor the interior.
Do not use this apparatus for other than residential purposes.
- - This appliance is CFC and HFC free and contains small quantities of Isobutane (R600a) which
is environmentally friendly, but flammable. It does not damage the ozone layer, nor does it
increase the greenhouse effect. re must be taken during transportation and setting up of the Ca
appliance that no parts of the cooling system are damaged. Leaking coolant can ignite and
may damage the eyes.
In the event of any damage:
- A void open flames and anything that creates a spark,
- D isconnect from the electrical power line,
- A ir the room in which the appliance is located for several minutes, and
- C ontact the Service Department for advice.
The more coolant there is in an appliance, the larger the room it should be installed in. In the
event of a leakage, if the appliance is in a small room, there is the danger of combustible gases
building up. For every ounce of coolant at least 325 room space is required. The cubic feet of
amount of coolant in the appliance is stated on the data plate on the back of the appliance . It is
hazardous for anyone other than an Authorized Service Person to carry out servicing or repairs
to this appliance.
Take serious care when handling, moving, and using the appliance to avoid either damaging
the refrigerant tubing or increasing the risk of a leak.
-Replacing component parts and servicing shall be done by factory authorized service
personnel so as to minimize the risk of possible ignition due to incorrect parts or improper
service.

use this appliance for any but its intended purpose.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before Using Your Wine Cooler
Remove the exterior and interior packing.
Before connecting the r to the power source, let it stand upright for wine oolec
approximately 2 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the
cooling system from handling during transportation.
Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water using a soft cloth.
This appliance is especially designed for the storage of wine; do not use it for
other purposes.
Installation of Your Wine Cooler
This appliance is designed for free standing or built in (fully recessed) installation. -
If free standing, the unit should have at least 4” of clearance at both sides, at the
top and at the back to allow for adequate ventilation.
If the appliance is to be in, leave at least 3/16” at both sides, 1/16” at the top -built
and 2” at the rear. Be sure that airflow under the appliance is not blocked. The
diagram below shows the correct dimensions for under counter installation:-
Place your wine oolec r on a floor that is strong enough to support it when it is fully
loaded. To level your wine cooler, adjust the leveling legs at the bottom of the unit.
Locate the r away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove, wine oolec
heater, radiator, etc.). Direct sunlight may affect the exterior surface and heat
sources may increase electrical consumption. Extremely cold or warm ambient

temperatures may also cause the unit to perform improperly.
Avoid locating the unit in moist areas. Do not use an extension cord.
Plug the wine cooler into an exclusive, properly installed and grounded wall outlet.
Do not under any circumstances cut or remove the third (ground) prong from the
power cord. Any questions concerning power and/or grounding should be
directed toward a certified or authorized products service center.
Reversing the Door Swing
This appliance has the capability of the door opening from either the left or right
side. The unit is delivered to you with the door opening from the left side. Should
you desire to reverse the opening direction, please follow these illustrations and
instructions:
