To install PEX1TO16 on a host computer:

Installation

1. Make sure that your system is unplugged and you are grounded.

2. Remove the cover of your system (see your computer's user manual for details, if necessary) and gently

turn your computer onto its side, so that the PCI Express expansion slot openings on the motherboard are

accessible.

3. Align the p1-x1 PCI Express connector provided by PEX1TO16 with an available PCI Express slot.

4. Gently insert the card into the empty slot, making sure it is seated firmly.

5. Replace and secure the computer cover.

Computers contain sensitive electronic components that are easily damaged by static electricity and

excessive shock. When handling the PCI Express Slot Extension Card, please ensure you are prop-

erly grounded using an anti-static mat or similar device. If anti-static equipment is not available,

ground yourself by touching the exterior of the computer case or another large metal surface before

handling any peripherals.
