Installation

Note: While both the Transmitter (local) and Receiver (remote) feature a 5V DC Power

Port, the Transmitter is powered by the Host Computer (local) and an additional local

power source is not required. The included Universal Power Adapter is intended for the

Receiver (remote).

Transmitter (Local)

1. Connect the located on the to a Port on the USB-B Host Port Transmitter USB-A

Host Computer, using the included 2 ft (61 cm) USB-A to USB-B Host Cable.

2. Connect an (up to 490 ft. / 150 m) to the RJ-45 Terminated Cat5e/Cat6 Cable

RJ-45 Output Port Transmitter, located on the .

Note: The cable should not go through any networking equipment (e.g. router, switch,

etc.).

The Ethernet cable must follow the EIA/TIA-568-A or B Standard.

Receiver (Remote)

3. Connect the to the located on the USB Peripheral Device USB-A Peripheral Port

Receiver.

4. Connect the other side of the (connected to the RJ-45 terminated Cat5e/Cat6 Cable

Transmitter Step 2 RJ-45 Input Port Receiver in ) to the , located on the .
