WIFI-1 modes
The WIFI-1 can be operated in one of two modes:
Connecting your phone/tablet mode
Use the wireless settings
dialog to connect mobile
devices to the MFD via the
WIFI-1. Use the Navico®/brand
mobile app on the mobile
device to access the vessel’s
navigation information. For
more information about the
Navico®/brand mobile app,
refer to the MFD documentation.
For security purposes, we recommend you change the administrator
password. When you connect the WIFI-1 to your display network,
follow the prompts on your display unit to change the administrator
password. Remember to note the new password.
Note: After changing the password, the WIFI-1 will restart and will be
offline for about 30 seconds.

Accessing the Internet mode
In the MFD, use the Connect to the Internet option in the
wireless settings dialog to access the internet via the WIFI-1.
Note: While accessing the Internet, mobile devices can no longer
access the MFD navigation information unless there is a second
WIFI-1 connected to the system, or the unit has a built-in WIFI
module.
