■If you regularly wash at temperatures of 40 °C or lower, or
■If you have been away for an extended period and odours have built up.
The drum cleaning indicator will flash to remind you if you have not used a
programme at 60 °C or higher for a long time.

■Run the programme without laundry.
■Use standard washing powder or a detergent that contains a bleaching
agent. Halve the amount of detergent to reduce foaming.
■Do not use liquid detergent or detergent that is intended for woollens or
