Your fridge freezer conforms to current safety requirements. Inappropriate use can lead to personal injury and damage

to property. To avoid the risk of damage read this manual carefully before using your fridge freezer for the rst time. It

contains important safety information on the installation, safety, use and maintenance of your Fridge Freezer. Retain

this manual for future use.

CHAPTER -1: GENERAL WARNINGS

WARNING: Keep the ventilation openings of the Fridge

clear from obstruction.

WARNING: Do not use mechanical devices or other

means to accelerate the defrosting process.

WARNING: Do not use other electrical appliances inside

the Fridge.

WARNING: Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.

WARNING: When positioning the appliance, ensure the

supply cord is not trapped or damaged.

WARNING: Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets

or portable power supplies at the rear of the appliance.

WARNING: To avoid personal injury or damage this

appliance must be installed in accordance with the

manufacturer instructions.

The small quantity of refrigerant used in this fridge is eco-

friendly R600a (an isobutene) and is ammable and

explosive if ignited in enclosed conditions.

* While carrying and positioning the fridge, do not damage

the cooler gas circuit.

* Do not store any containers with ammable materials, such

as spray cans or re extinguisher rell cartridges in the

vicinity of the fridge.

* This appliance is intended to be used in household and

similar applications such as;

- sta󰀨 kitchen areas in shops, o󰀩ces and other working

environments which can be equated with ordinary

household

- farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels and other

residential type environments which can be equated with

ordinary household

- bed and breakfast type environments which can be

equated with ordinary household

To avoid contamination of food, please respect the

following instructions:

* Opening the door for long periods can cause a signicant

increase of the temperature in the compartments of the

appliance.

* Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact with food

and accessible drainage systems.

* Store raw meat and sh in suitable containers in the

refrigerator, so that it is not in contact with or drip onto other

food.

* Two-star frozen-food compartments are suitable for storing

pre-frozen food, storing or making ice cream and making

ice cubes.

* One-, two- and three-star compartments are not suitable for

the freezing of fresh food.

* If the refrigerating appliance is left empty for long periods,

switch o󰀨, defrost, clean, dry, and leave the door open to

prevent mould developing within the appliance.

Disposal

• All packaging and materials used are environmentally friendly and recyclable. Please dispose of any packaging

in an environmentally friendly manner. Consult your local council for further details.

• When the appliance is to be scrapped, cut o󰀨 the electrical supply cable and destroy the plug and cable. Disable

the door catch in order to prevent children becoming trapped inside.

• A cut o󰀨 plug inserted into a 16 amp socket is a serious safety (shock) hazard. Please ensure the cut o󰀨 plug

is disposed of safely.

Notes:

• Please read the instruction manual carefully before installing and using your appliance. We are not responsible

for the damage occurred due to misuse.

• Follow all instructions on your appliance and instruction manual, and keep this manual in a safe place to resolve

the problems that may occur in the future.

• This appliance is produced to be used in homes and it can only be used in domestic environments and for the

specied purposes. It is not suitable for commercial or common use. Such use will cause the guarantee of the

appliance to be cancelled and our company will not be responsible for the losses to be occurred.

• This appliance is produced to be used in houses and it is only suitable for cooling / storing foods. It is not

Safety warnings

• Do not connect your Fridge Freezer to the mains electricity supply using an extension lead.

• A damaged power cord / plug can cause re or give you and electric shock. When damaged it must be

replaced, this should only be done by qualied personnel.

• Do not use plug adapter.

• Never bend the power cord excessively.

• Never touch the power cord / plug with wet hands as this could cause a short circuit electric shock.

• Do not place glass bottles or beverage cans in the freezer department. Bottles or cans may explode.

• When taking ice made in the freezer department, do not touch it, ice may cause ice burns and/or cuts.

• Do not remove items from the freezer if your hands are damp or wet. Tis could cause skin abrasions or frost /

freezer burns.

• Do not refreeze food once it has thawed out.

Disposal of your old appliance

This symbol on the product or package implies that the product should not be treated as domestic waste.

Instead, it should be delivered to applicable waste collection places recycling electrical and electronic

equipment. Recycling materials will help natural resources be preserved. For more detailed information

regarding recycling of this product, please contact local authority, domestic waste disposal service or the

shop you have purchased the product from.

Please ask your local authority about the disposal of the WEEE for the reuse, recycle and recovery purposes.

Installation Information

Before unpacking and manoeuvring your fridge freezer please take some time to familiarise yourself with the following

points.

• Position away from direct sunlight and away from any heat source such as a radiator.

• Your appliance should be at least 50 cm away from stoves, Gas ovens and heater cores, and should be at least

5 cm away from electrical ovens.

• Do not expose your fridge freezer to moisture or rain.

• Your fridge freezer should be positioned at least 20mm away from another freezer.

• Clearance of at least 150 mm is required at the top of your fridge freezer. Do not place anything on top of your

fridge freezer.

• For safe operation it is important that your fridge freezer is safe and balanced. The adjustable feet are used to

level your fridge freezer. Make sure that your appliance is level before placing any foodstu󰀨s inside it.

• We recommend that you wipe all shelving and trays with a cloth soaked in warm water mixed

with a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda before use. After cleaning rinse with warm water and

dry.

• Install using the plastic distance guides, which can be found at the rear of the appliance. Turn

90 degrees (as shown in the diagram). This will keep the condenser from touching the wall.

• Refrigerator should be placed against a wall with a free distance not exceeding 75 mm.

For Denmark products:

The appliance is equipped with a plug approved in the EU ( EU-Schuko Plug) and can be used in Finland, Norway and

Sweden. In Denmark, the appliance is only approved for use with a wall outlet type E or type CEE7 // 7-S with a ground

leg. If there is only wall outlet type K at the connection point, Replacing EU-Schuko plug with the Danish plug must be

performed by only an authorized service personel. Alternatively, connect a suitable and approved power adapter to

transition between Schuko plug and Danish earth system. This adapter (min. 10 amps and up to max. 13 amps) can

be ordered via at well assorted whitegoods dealer or authorized electrician. Only with one of these methods it can be

ensured that the appliance is the correct safety ground. In the absence of earthing installation, an authorised electrician

should carry out an earthing installation. In the case of use without earthing installed, we will not be responsible for any

loss of use that may occur.

Zero Degree Zone (In some models)

Keeping food in the chiller compartment instead of the freezer or refrigerator

compartment allows food retain freshness and avour longer while preserving its

fresh appearance. If the chiller tray becomes dirty, remove it and wash with water.

(Water freezes at 0 °C, but foods containing salt or sugar require lowered

temperatures to freeze)

Normally people use the chiller compartment for raw sh, rice, etc...

Do not put foods you want to freeze or ice trays in order to make ice.

Removing the chiller shelf

• Pull the chiller shelf out toward you by sliding it on rails.

• Pull the chiller shelf up from the rail to remove.

After the chiller shelf has been removed, it can support a maximum 16 kg load.

Humidity Controller (In some models)

When the humidity controller is in the closed position, it allows fresh fruit and

vegetables to be stored for a longer time.

In the event the crisper is full, the fresh dial that is located in front of the crisper,

should be opened. By means of this, the air in the crisper and humidity rate will be

controlled and the shelf life will be extended.

If you see any condensation on the glass shelf, the humidity control should be

placed into the open positions.

Bottle holder (In some models)

In order to prevent the bottles to slip or fall over you can use the bottle holder. You can also prevent making noise that

will be done when you open or close the door.

Visual and text descriptions on the accessories section may vary according which model you have..

Adapti-Lift Door Shelf (In some models)

Six di󰀨erent height adjustments can be made to provide storage

areas that you need by Adapti-Lift.

To change the position of Adapti-Lift ;

Hold the bottom of the shelf and pull the buttons on the side of

the door shelf direction of arrow (Fig.1)

Position door shelf the height you need by moving up and down.

After you get the position that you want the door shelf, release

the buttons on the side of the door shelf (Fig.2) Before releasing

the door shelf, move up down and make sure the door shelf is

xed

Note: Before moving door shelf is loaded, you must hold the shelf by supporting the bottom. Otherwise, door shelf

could fall o󰀨 the rails due to the weight. So damage may occur on the door shelf or rails.

• Are the shelves or dishes on the shelves vibrating? Re-place the shelves and/or dishes if this is the case.

• Are the items placed on your fridge vibrating?

Normal Noises;

Cracking (Ice cracking) Noise:

• During automatic defrosting.

• When the appliance is cooled or warmed (due to expansion of appliance material).

Short cracking: Heard when the thermostat switches the compressor on/o󰀨.

Compressor noise (Normal motor noise): This noise means that the compressor operates normally Compressor

may cause more noise for a short time when it is activated.

Bubbling noise and splash: This noise is caused by the ow of the refrigerant in the tubes of the system.

Water ow noise: Normal ow noise of water owing to the evaporation container during defrosting. This noise

can be heard during defrosting.

Air Blowing Noise (Normal fan noise): This noise can be heard in No-Frost fridge during normal operation of

the system due to the circulation of air.

If humidity builds up inside the fridge;

• Has the food been properly packaged? Have the containers been well dried before they were put into the

refrigerator?

• Are the doors of the refrigerator opened very frequently? When the door is opened, the humidity found in the

air in the room enters the refrigerator. Especially if the humidity rate in the room is too high, the more frequently

the door is opened the faster will be the humidication.

If the doors are not opened and closed properly;

• Do the food packages prevent closing of the door?

• Are the door compartments, shelves and drawers placed properly?

• Are door gaskets broken or torn?

• Is your fridge on a level surface?

If the edges of fridge cabinet that the door joint contact are warm;

Especially in summer (hot weather), the surfaces that the joint contact may get warmer during the operation of the

compressor, this is normal.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• The compressor protection thermal fuse will cutout after sudden power breakdowns or after unplugging the

appliance, because the gas in the cooling system is not stabilised. This is quite normal, and the fridge will

restart after 4 or 5 minutes.

• The cooling unit of your refrigerator is hidden in the rear wall. Therefore, water droplets or ice may occur on the

rear surface of your fridge due to the operation of the compressor in specied intervals. This is normal. There

is no need to perform a defrosting operation unless the ice is excessive.

• If you will not use your fridge for a long time (e.g. in summer holidays) unplug it. Clean your fridge according to

Part 4 and leave the door open to prevent humidity and smell.

• The appliance you have purchased is designed for home type use and can be used only at home and for

the stated purposes. It is not suitable for commercial or common use. If the consumer use the appliance in

a way that does not comply with these features, we emphasise that the producer and the dealer shall not be

responsible for any repair and failure within the guarantee period.

• If the problem persists after you have followed all the instructions above, please consult an authorised service

provider.

CHAPTER -7: TIPS FOR SAVING ENERGY

1. Always allow foodstu󰀨s to cool before storing in the appliance.

2. Thaw food in the fridge compartment, this helps save energy.

3. Energy consumption of your appliance is declared without drawers and fully loaded in freezer compartmant.

4. For saving energy, do not use volume between the load

limit and the door, along the load limit line. Load limit line is

also used in energy consumption declaration.

Fach für frische Lebensmittel (Kühlschrank): Die e󰀨ektivste Energienutzung wird durch die Schubladenanordnung in

der unteren Hälfte des Geräts gewährleistet sowie durch die gleichmäßige Verteilung der Regale. Die Anordnung der

Türkästen wirkt sich nicht auf den Energieverbrauch aus.

Tiefkühlfach (Gefrierschrank): Die e󰀨ektivste Energienutzung wird durch die lagermäßige Einteilung der Schubladen

- und Kastenanordnung erreicht.

KAPITEL 2: IHR KÜHL-/GEFRIERSCHRANK

Display und Bedienfeld

Bedienfeld verwenden

1. Aktiviert die Einstellung des Tiefkühlbereichs.

2. Aktiviert die Einstellung des Kühlbereichs.

3. Tiefkühltemperatur-Einstellbildschirm.

4. Kühltemperatur-Einstellbildschirm.

5. Energiesparmodus.

6. Schnellgefrieren.

7. Alarmsymbol.

Ihre Kühl-Gefrier-Kombination in Betrieb nehmen

Sobald Sie das Produkt angeschlossen haben, werden alle Symbol 2 Sekunden lang angezeigt und die Anfangswerte

erscheinen, wie z. B. -18 °C an der Tiefkühleinstellanzeige und +4 °C an der Kühleinstellanzeige.

Tiefkühltemperatur einstellen

• Die Ausgangstemperatur für die Tiefkühleinstellanzeige ist -18 °C.

• Drücken Sie einmal die Tiefkühltemperatur-Einstelltaste.

Bei erstmaliger Betätigung der Taste blinkt der vorherige Wert am Bildschirm.

• Jedes Mal, wenn Sie diese Taste erneut betätigen, wird eine niedrigere Temperatur eingestellt (-16 °C, -18 °C,

-20 °C, -22 °C und -24 °C).

• Wenn Sie die Taste erneut drücken, wird das Gerät wieder auf -16 °C eingestellt.

HINWEIS: Der Energiesparmodus wird automatisch aktiviert, wenn die Temperatur des Tiefkühlbereichs auf -18 °C

eingestellt wird.

Kühltemperatur einstellen

• Die Ausgangstemperatur für die Kühleinstellanzeige ist +4 °C.

• Drücken Sie die Kühlbereichstaste einmal.

• Jedes Mal, wenn Sie diese Taste erneut betätigen, wird eine niedrigere Temperatur eingestellt (+8 °C, +6 °C,

+5 °C, +4 °C und +2 °C).

• Wenn Sie die Taste erneut drücken, wird das Gerät wieder auf +8 °C eingestellt.

KAPITEL 4: ANLEITUNG ZUR LEBENSMITTELAUFBEWAHRUNG

• Bitte frieren Sie schon einmal aufgetaute Lebensmittel nicht wieder ein. Dies kann Ihre Gesundheit gefährden,

da z.B. Lebensmittelvergiftungen die Folge sein könnten.

• Stellen Sie keine heiße Speisen in das Tiefkühlabteil. Lassen Sie sie erst abkühlen. Dies kann verursachen,

dass die schon eingefrorenen Lebensmittel wieder auftauen und dann verderben.

• Wenn Sie Tiefkühlkost kaufen, sollten Sie darauf achten, dass diese unter den richtigen Bedingungen

eingefroren wurde und dass die Verpackung nicht beschädigt ist.

• Beim Aufbewahren von Tiefkühlkost müssen auf jeden Falldie Aufbewahrungsbedingungen auf der Verpackung

eingehalten werden. Wenn es hierzu keine Angaben gibt, dann sollten Sie diese Lebensmittel so schnell wie

möglich verbrauchen.

• Wenn Feuchtigkeit in der Tiefkühlkostverpackung auftritt und das Lebensmittel faulig riecht, ist es unter

ungeeigneten Bedingungen aufbewahrt worden und verdorben. Kaufen Sie keine derartigen Lebensmittel.

• Die Lagerdauer von Tiefkühlkost hängt von der Raumtemperatur, der Häu฀gkeit des Ö฀nens und Schließens

der Türen, der Thermostateinstellung und der Zeit,vom Kauf des Lebensmittels bis zur Unterbringung im

Tiefkühlabteil ab. Befolgen Sie immer die Anweisungen auf der Verpackung und überschreiten Sie nicht die

angegebene Lagerdauer.

• Ö฀nen Sie während eines längeren Stromausfalls nicht die Tür des Tiefkühlabteils. Nach einem längeren

Stromausfall dürfen Sie aufgetaute Lebensmittel nicht wieder einfrieren sondern sollten diese so schnell wie

möglich verbrauchen.

• Beachten Sie, dass, wenn Sie die Teifkühlabteiltür kurz, nachdem Sie sie geschlossen haben, wieder ö฀nen

möchten, dies nicht einfach geht. Aber das ist ganz normal! Nachdem ein Kältegleichgewicht erreicht ist, lässt

sich die Tür wieder leicht ö฀nen.

Wichtiger Hinweis:

• Aufgetaute Tiefkühlkost sollte wie frische Lebensmittel zubereitet werden. Wenn Sie nach dem Auftauen nicht

zubereitet wird, darf sie NIEMALS erneut eingefroren werden.

• Der Geschmack vor einigen in gekochten Speisen vorhandenen Gewürzen (Anis, Basilikum, Wasserkresse,

Essig, Gewürzmischungen, Ingwer, Knoblauch, Zwiebeln, Senf, Thymian, Majoran, schwarzer Pfe฀er usw.)

verändert sich bei langer Aufbewahrung und wird stärker. Daher sollten Sie nur wenig Gewürze in einzufrierende

Speisen verwenden oder die gewünschten Gewürze erst nach dem Auftauen dieser Speisen hinzufügen.

• Die Aufbewahrungszeit hängt von dem verwendeten Öl ab. Geeignete Öle sind Margarine, Kalbsfett, Olivenöl

und Butter und ungeeignete Öle sind Erdnussöl und Schmalz.

• Flüssige Speisen sollten in Plastikbechern und andere Speisen in Plastikfolie oder Gefrierbeuteln eingefroren

werden.

KAPITEL 5: VERÄNDERUNG DES TÜRANSCHLAGS

Umpositionierung der Tür

• Es hängt von Ihrem Kühlschrankmodell ab, ob es möglich ist, den Türanschlag zu verändern.

• Wenn an der Vorderseite des Geräts Gri฀e angebracht sind, ist dies nicht möglich.

• Wenn Ihr Modell keine Gri฀e hat, kann der Türanschlag geändert werden, aber dies muss von einem

autorisierten Fachmann durchgeführt werden. Rufen Sie bitte den Sharp Kundendienst an.

KAPITEL 6: INFORMATIONEN ZUR FEHLERBEHEBUNG

Warnungen überprüfen:

Ihr Kühlschrank warnt Sie, falls ein oder mehrere Teile nicht funktionieren sollten. In diesem Fall blinkt die LED um die

Taste und der Summer ertönt.

Setzen Sie sich schnellstmöglich

mit dem Sharp-Kundendienst in

Wenn Ihr Kühlschrank nicht läuft:

• Ist es ein Stromausfall?

• Ist der Stecker richtig in die Dose eingesteckt?

• Ist die Sicherung der Steckdose, in die der Stecker eingesteckt ist, oder die Hauptsicherung durchgebrannt?

• Ist die Steckdose defekt? Um die zu überprüfen, stecken Sie den Kühlschrank in eine als funktionierend

bekannte Steckdose ein.

Wenn Ihr Kühlschrank nicht ausreichend kühlt:

• Ist die Temperatureinstellung korrekt?

• Wurde die Kühlschranktür häu฀g geö฀net oder für eine längere Zeit o฀en gestanden?

• Ist die Kühlschranktür ordentlich geschlossen?

• Haben Sie Geschirr oder Lebensmittel in Ihren Kühlschrank gestellt, die die Rückwand Ihres Kühlschranks

berühren und so die Luftzirkulation behindern?

KAPITEL 7: TIPPS ZUM STROMSPAREN

1. Lassen Sie Speisen, bevor Sie sie in den Kühlschrank stellen, immer abkühlen.

2. Tauen Sie Lebensmittel im Kühlschrankabteil auf, dies hilft, Strom zu sparen.

3. Energieverbrauch Ihres Gerätes gilt ohne Schubladen und bei vollständig beladenem Tiefkühlbereich.

4. Verwenden Sie zum Energiesparen kein Volumen zwischen

Lastlimit und Tür entlang der Lastlimitlinie. Lastlimitlinie wird

auch in der Erklärung zum Energieverbrauch verwendet.
