as described in this instruction manual. This
appliance is not intended for use by persons

and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Because these following operating instructions
cover various models, the characteristics of your
Kimchi Refrigerator may differ slightly from those
described in this manual.

• Do not place this Kimchi Refrigerator in direct
sunlight or expose to the heat from stoves, room
heaters, or other appliance.
• Do not install this appliance in a humid, oily or
dusty location, in a location exposed to direct
sunlight and water (rain drops). Do not install this
appliance in a location where gas may leak.
-This may result in an electric shock or re.
• Never use gas pipes, telephone lines or other
potential lightening rods as ground.
-Improper use of the ground plug can result in
electric shock. If it is necessary to use an extension
cord, use only a 3-wire extension cord that has a
3-blade grounding plug and a 3-slot receptacle
that will accept the plug on the appliance. The
marked rating of the extension cord should be
AC115-120 V, 10 A, or more. If a grounding adapter
is used, make sure the receptacle box is fully
grounded.
• Do not plug several appliances into the same
power strip. The Kimchi Refrigerator should always
be plugged into its own individual electrical socket
which has a voltage rating that matches the rating
plate.
-This provides the best performance and also
prevents overloading of the house wiring circuits,
which could cause a re hazard from overheated
wires.
• Do not use a cord that shows cracks or abrasion
damage along its length or at either end.
• Do not bend the power cord excessively or place
heavy articles on it.
• Do not use electrical appliances inside the
food storage compartments of the appliance,
unless they are of the type recommended by the
manufacturer.
• Do not store explosive substance es such as
aerosol cans with a ammable propellant in this
appliance.
• Keep ventilation openings in the appliance
enclosure or mounting structure clear of
obstructions.
• This Kimchi Refrigerator must be
properly located and installed in
accordance with the manual before
you use it.
• Plug the power plug into the wall socket rmly. If
the wall socket is loose, do not insert the power
plug.
-There is a risk of electric shock or re.
• Connect the power plug in proper orientation with
the cord hanging down.
-If you connect the power plug upside down, the
wire can get cut off and cause re or electric shock.
• When moving the Kimchi Refrigerator, be careful
not to roll over or damage the power cord.

• Make sure that the power plug is not squashed or
damaged by the back of the Kimchi Refrigerator.
• Keep the packing materials out of reach of
children.
-The plastic bags and other packing material can
cause death by sufcation.
• The appliance must be positioned so that the plug

re due to electric leakage.
• The Kimchi Refrigerator must be
grounded.
-You must ground the Kimchi Refrigerator to
prevent any power leakages or electric shocks
caused by current leakage from the Kimchi
Refrigerator.
• If the power cord is damaged, have
it replaced immediately by the
manufacturer or its service agent.
• The fuse on the refrigerator must be changed by a
qualied technician or service company.
-Failing to do so may result in electric shock or
personal injury.

explosion, problems with the product, or injury.
• The socket must be easily accessible so that the
appliance can be quickly disconnecte the supply in

chemicals near the refrigerator. Do
not keep volatile or inammable
objects or substances (benzene,
thinner, propane gas, etc.) in the
refrigerator.

- This may result in re or explosion.
