BELANGRIJKE VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN
WAARSCHUWING: Lees alle belangrijke voorzorgsmaatregelen en instructies
in deze handleiding en alle waarschuwingen over uw hometrainer alvorens deze te gebruiken
om het risico op ernstig letsel te verkleinen. ICON wijst alle aansprakelijkheid af voor lichamelijk
letsel of materiële schade opgelopen door het gebruik van dit product.
1. Raadpleeg uw dokter voordat u aan een
oefenprogramma begint. Dit is vooral van
belang voor personen ouder dan 35 jaar of
personen met gezondheidsproblemen.
2. Gebruik deze hometrainer alleen zoals in
deze handleiding wordt beschreven.
3. Het is de verantwoordelijkheid van de
eigenaar ervoor te zorgen dat alle gebruikers
van de hometrainer degelijk zijn ingelicht over
alle voorzorgsmaatregelen.
4. De hometrainer is alleen bestemd voor
thuisgebruik. Gebruik de hometrainer niet in
een commerciële context, noch voor verhuur
of in een instelling.
5. Gebruik de hometrainer alleen binnenshuis,
uit de buurt van vocht en stof. Plaats de
hometrainer op een vlakke ondergrond, met
een mat eronder om de vloer of het vasttapijt te
beschermen. Laat minstens 0,9 m vrije ruimte
aan de voor- en achterkant van de hometrainer
en 0,6 m vrije ruimte aan de zijkanten.
6. Inspecteer regelmatig de onderdelen en
zet ze vast. Vervang versleten onderdelen
onmiddellijk.
7. Houd kinderen jonger dan 12 jaar en
huisdieren steeds uit de buurt van
de hometrainer.
8. De hometrainer mag niet worden gebruikt
door personen van meer dan 115 kg.
9. Draag passende kleding tijdens het oefenen;
draag geen losse kleding die in de hometrainer
vast kan komen te zitten. Draag altijd
atletiekschoenen als voetbescherming tijdens
het oefenen.
10. Neem bij het op- en afstappen en bij het
gebruiken van de hometrainer de handgrepen
of de armhendels vast.
11. De hartslagsensor is geen medisch
apparaat. Verschillende factoren kunnen de
nauwkeurigheid van de hartslagmetingen
beïnvloeden. De hartslagsensor is slechts
bedoeld als een hulpmiddel voor het bepalen
van hartslagindicaties tijdens oefeningen in
het algemeen.
12. Houd uw rug steeds recht wanneer u de
hometrainer gebruikt; buig uw rug niet.
13. Overmatig oefenen kan tot ernstige letsels
of zelfs levensgevaar leiden. Als u een auwte
of pijn voelt tijdens het oefenen, stop dan
onmiddellijk totdat u afgekoeld bent.
