Intended use

This product is a toy for children 3 years and up,

for private use.

Safety information

• Warning. Not suitable for children under 36

months. Choking hazard. Small parts.

• Children may only play with the product

under adult supervision.

• Warning. Neither the packaging/mounting

materials nor the ‘SUPER DRY’ pouch

(desiccant) are a constituent part of the toy

and they must be removed before the product

is given to children to play with.

• Warning. Desiccant contains calcium chloride

(CAS 10043-52-4). Keep out of reach of

children.

• This product contains small magnets. Magnets

can cause serious injury if swallowed!

Contact a doctor immediately if a magnet

is swallowed. This product was made with

the utmost care. However, if defects are

found, take the product away from children

immediately and dispose of it.

• Only use the battery type LR03.

• Check the product for damage or wear

before each use. Only use the product if it is in

perfect condition!

Battery warning notices!

• Remove the batteries when they are ﬂat, or

if the product is not in use for an extended

period.

• Do not use diﬀerent types or brands of

battery or new and used batteries together or

batteries with diﬀerent capacities as these can

leak and cause damage.

• Ensure the polarity (+/-) is correct when

inserting the batteries.

• Replace all batteries at the same time and

dispose of the old batteries as prescribed.

• Warning! Batteries must not be charged or

reactivated by other means, taken apart,

thrown into ﬁre or short-circuited.

• Always keep batteries out of reach of children.

• Do not use rechargeable batteries!

• Cleaning and maintenance must not be

carried out by children without supervision.

• Clean the battery and device contacts as

needed and before inserting.

• Do not expose the batteries to extreme

conditions (e.g. radiators or direct sunlight).

Otherwise there is an increased risk of

leakage.

• Batteries can be life-threatening if swallowed.

Therefore, store batteries in a place

inaccessible to small children. Medical

attention must be sought immediately if a

battery is swallowed.

Danger!

• Handle damaged or leaking batteries with

extreme caution and dispose of them properly

as soon as possible. Wear gloves when doing

so.

• If you come into contact with battery acid,

wash the aﬀected area with soap and

water. If battery acid gets in your eye, rinse

it with water and seek medical attention

immediately!

• The connection terminals must not be short-

circuited.

Inserting the batteries

(Fig. B)/(Fig. D)

WARNING! Observe the following

instructions to avoid mechanical and

electrical damage.

Insert the batteries (18) provided before using

the train (5) and the roof (1) for the ﬁrst time.

1. Use a suitable screwdriver (not included in the

package contents) to loosen the screw (5a)/

(1a) of the respective battery compartment

cover of the train (5) and roof (1).

Note: make sure that the screws are kept safely

away from children and do not get lost.

2. Remove the battery compartment cover (5b)/

(1b) and carefully insert the batteries (18)

into the battery compartment (5c)/(1c). The

batteries must be inserted fully into the battery

compartment.

Note: check the plus/minus poles of the

batteries and insert them correctly.

3. Screw the respective battery compartment

cover back onto the train (5) and roof (1).

Replacing batteries

WARNING! Observe the following

instructions to avoid mechanical and

electrical damage.

When the batteries are flat, replace them as

described in the insertion instructions. Remove

the batteries from the product before inserting

new ones.

Assembly

To assemble the product, follow the individual

steps as shown in Figs. E–K.

Assembly variants

Assembly variants can be found in the enclosed

overview.

Note: assembly variants with multiple,

consecutive curved parts can potentially derail

the vehicles!

Clean the tracks with a damp cloth before using

them for the ﬁrst time!

Use

Activating and deactivating the

train (Fig. C)

1. Press the front button (5d) to drive forwards.

2. Press the middle button (5e) to stop the train.

3. Press the back button (5f) to drive backwards.

Warning! The train is not intended to drive

backwards on bridges or inclines.

Advertising board (Fig. J)

Turn the gear (12a) on the advertising board

(12) to switch between four advertising designs.

Roof (Fig. L)

• Press the button (1d) on the roof (1) to record

a message.

• Press the button (1e) on the roof to play a

recorded message.

• Press the button (1f) on the roof once to turn

on the ceiling light inside the roof. Pressing the

button again turns the ceiling light oﬀ.

• Press the button (1g) on the roof once to turn

on the advertising board lighting. Pressing the

button again turns the lighting oﬀ.

Storage, cleaning

When not in use, always store the product

dry, clean, without batteries and at room

temperature.

Only clean the product with a damp cloth and

wipe dry afterwards.

Warning: the tracks should be cleaned before

being used for the ﬁrst time!

IMPORTANT! Never clean the product with

harsh cleaning agents.

Disposal

In the interest of protecting the environ-

ment, do not throw your product into the

household waste once you are ﬁnished

with it, but rather take it to a specialty

disposal facility. Find out about collection sites

and their hours of operation from your local

authority.

Defective or used batteries must be recycled

pursuant to Directive 2006/66/EC and changes

to it. Return batteries and/or the product via the

collecting sites provided. Packaging materials,

such as plastic bags, must be kept away from

children. Keep the packaging materials out of

reach of children.

Environmental damage caused by

improper disposal of batteries! Batteries

may not be disposed of with household

waste. They may contain toxic heavy

metals and are subject to hazardous waste

treatment. The chemical symbols of the heavy

metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg =

mercury, Pb = lead. Dispose of used batteries at

a municipal collection site.

Dispose of the product and packaging in

an environmentally friendly manner.

Note the label on the packaging

materials when separating waste, as

these are labelled with abbreviations (a)

and numbers (b) with the following meaning:

1–7: plastics/20–22: paper and card-

board/80–98: composite materials.

The product and the packaging materials can be

recycled, dispose of them separately for better

treatment of waste. The Triman logo only applies

to France. Find out how to dispose of the used

product from your municipal or city administra-

tion.

Notes on the guarantee and

service handling

The product was produced with great care and

under constant supervision. You receive a three-

year warranty for this product from the date of

purchase. Please retain your receipt.

The warranty applies only to material and

workmanship and does not apply to misuse or

improper handling. Your statutory rights, espe-

cially the warranty rights, are not aﬀected by this

warranty.

Namjenska upotreba

Ovaj je proizvod igračka za djecu s navršene

3 godine za privatnu upotrebu.

Sigurnosne napomene

• Upozorenje. Igračka nije prikladna za djecu

mlađu od 36 mjeseci. Opasnost od gušenja.

Mali dijelovi.

• Djeca se smiju igrati proizvodom samo pod

nadzorom odraslih.

• Upozorenje. Svi ambalažni materijali/

materijali za učvršćivanje i „SUPER DRY”-

vrećica (sredstvo za sušenje) nisu sastavni dio

igračke te se zbog sigurnosnih razloga uvijek

moraju ukloniti, prije nego se proizvod preda

djeci na igranje.

• Upozorenje. Sredstvo za sušenje sadrži
