1. Open the control panel cover
1. Abra la cubierta del panel de control
3. Main Control Knob
Set main control knob to the desired position.
3. Perilla del Control Principal
Ajuste la perilla del control principal, en la posición deseada.
4. Thermostat Control Knob
• For a room that is too warm, set the control knob to a clockwise direction.
• If the room is too cool, set the control knob to a counter clockwise direction.
* : Usually 6~7 is the recommended setting position.Note
4. Perilla de Control de Termostato
• Para una habitación que está muy caliente, ajuste el perilla del control en la dirección de
las manecillas del reloj.
• Si la habitación está muy fria, ajuste el perilla del control en dirección contraria a las
manecillas del reloj.
* : Usualmente se recomienda una posición de ajuste entre 6~7.Nota
CAUTION: If the main control knob is turned off or changed to a fan setting from a cooling
operation setting, WAIT at least 3 minutes before resetting it to a cooling operation.
CUIDADO: Si la perilla de control principal es apagada o cambiada a una posición de
ventilación de una función de enfriamiento, espere por lo menos tres minutos
antes de reajustar la perilla a una posición de enfriamiento.
ECONOMY
Recommended for electricity cost saving. Fan and compressor stop together when the room
temperature reaches the thermostat setting. They turn on again when the room temperature
rises. It may, however, take longer for the unit to cycle on again since the room air is not being
moved through the sensor by the fan.
Ahorramiento de costos recomendados. El ventilador y compresor se apagan juntos cuando
la temperatura de la habitación llega al nivel del termostato preajustado. Se encenderán
nuevamente cuando suba la temperatura en la habitación. Sin embargo puede tomar tiempo
para que la unidad nuevamente trabaje porque el ventilador no está moviendo el aire de la
habitación a través del sensor.
2. Power Supply
Switch off the breaker and set the main control knob to the OFF position; confirm that the
power supply cord is connected to a proper AC outlet. < 115V, 60Hz >

Apague el interruptor y ponga el botón del control principal en posición OFF; confirme que
el cordón de la fuente de poder esta conectada a una salida correcta CA, <115V, 60Hz>.
5. Air Swing Switch
(Airflow direction adjustment Side-to-Side)
To obtain a fix airflow direction, set the air swing switch to “ON” for the vanes to swing
from side to side until the desired flow direction is reached, then switch it to “OFF”.
For continuous side-to-side air circulation, set the air swing switch to “ON”.
5. Interruptor de Rotado del Aire
(Ajuste de Lado a Lado de la dirección de corriente de aire)
Para obtener una mezcla de dirección del flujo del aire, ajuste el interruptor en “ON” hasta
balancear las veletas de lado a lado hasta que la dirección de flujo de aire deseado esta
alcanzada, entonces enchufe a “OFF”.
Para una circulación continua de lado a lado, ajuste el interruptor de Rotado del Aire en la
posición “ON”.

keep out direct sunlight during cooling operation.

Always turn off the air conditioner and the main power supply before unplugging the power cord to
clean the unit.
Switch off the power supply if the unit is not going to be used for a long period of time.
Siempre apague el acondicionador de aire antes de desenchufar el cable de poder y limpiar la unidad.
Si no va a utilizarse la unidad durante un largo período de tiempo, desconecte la alimentación eléctrica.
Clean the cabinet, and front grille with a mild soap
or detergent and lukewarm water.
Limpie el caja y la rejilla frontal con un jabón suave
o detergente y agua tibia.
The filter can be easily cleaned using a vacuum cleaner
(To remove the air filter, please refer to page 17 for
Air Filter Removal). Vacuum the front of the filter
and then wash the back with water. If it is badly soiled,
wash with a mild household detergent.
It is recommended that you replace the (part
no. CZ-SF6P) every 3 months.
El filtro puede ser fácilmente limpiado usando una
aspiradora (Para remover el filtro de aire, por favor
remítase a la página 17 en Como Desmontar el
Flitro de Aire). Aspire el frente del filtro y luego
lave atrás de él con agua. Si esta muy sucio, lave con
un detergente casero que sea suave.
Es recomendable reemplazar el (serie no.CZ-
SF6P) filtro cada 3 meses.
The front intake grille can be easily removed for
cleaning purposes (refer to page 7 - Remove the
front intake grille).
Gently wash with water and a sponge. (Do not
use a scrubbing brush or other hard cleaning aids).
La rejilla frontal de toma de aire puede ser
fácilmente quitada para propósitos de limpieza
(Vaya a la página 7 para los procedimientos de cómo
Quite la rejilla frontal de la toma de aire).
Lave despacio con agua y esponja.(No utilice
cepillos de fregado u otra clase de elementos
duros).
NOTE:
Do not dry the front panel or the air filter under direct sunlight. (Exposure to direct sunlight may discolor or
deform the panel.)
NOTA:
No saque el panel frontal o el filtro de aire a la luz del sol. (La exposición directa al sol puede decolorar o deformar el
panel.)
