Safety instructions

When using your appliance, basic safety precautions should

always be followed,

including the following:

ATTENTION!

- Do not allow the ingress of water and moisture on the support and

internal electric parts of the device located outside the container for

water.

- Always remove the kettle from the support to ll it with water or to

clean.

- Do not touch the water in the kettle when it is on the support.

Failure to observe these rules may result in electric shock!

Only plug the appliance into an outlet with an earthed (ground)

contact.

- DO NOT let children or untrained persons use the appliance

without supervision.

- DO NOT leave the appliance unnecessarily plugged in.

- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with

the appliance.

- Do not leave the kettle switched on if the temperature in the room

may fall below zero. When the temperature is below zero, the

thermostat of the device may spontaneously turn on and switch on

the device.

ATTENTION!

- The surface of the device becomes very hot during operation.

Be careful because you may burn yourself greatly by touching the

surfaces of the cover, case, water of vapor.

- Do not open the cover of the kettle during boiling.

- Do not lift the kettle by its cover.

- Take and lift the kettle only keeping it for the handle, touch only the

buttons of the device.

- Do not ll the kettle with the water level higher than the mark

«MAX».

- Place the kettle only on a dry, stable, even, slip-resistant surface.

- Lift the kettle full with hot water with special care!

In case of failure to observe the above mentioned rules there

arises the danger of burning!

- To avoid possible damages by vapor turn the kettle nose away

from walls and furniture when it is boiling. Use the support to save

the sensitive cover of furniture from damages.

- Do not place the kettle and its support on heating devices.

- Do not close the opening for the exit of vapor near the switch.

- Do not use the kettle without a cover.

«MAX» (the water level scale with «MIN» and «MAX» marks is

inside). Close the cover.

- Place the kettle on the support.

- Turn the switch (C/ Fig.1) to the position «I». The indicator will

light signaling that the device has turned on, and the kettle shall

begin warming the water.

- When the water begins to boil, the switch will be turned to

the position «О» (off), the light will fade and the kettle will be

automatically turned off.

- You must pour out the rst portion of water and repeat the boiling

procedure again.

- Now the kettle is ready for use.

ATTENTION! Do not ll the kettle with cold water until cools down;

let it get cool before lling with cold water.

Failure to observe this rule may result in the damage to the

ceramic case.

Further boil water as specied above.

The level of water in the kettle must be somewhere between the

marks «MIN» and «MAX».

The process of warming the water can be interrupted at any

moment by pressing on the switch.

ATTENTION! If your kettle switches off before the water begins to

boil, you should clean it of scale (see cleaning and maintenance).

The kettle can continue operation if its cover is open.

Cleaning and maintenance

Regular cleaning improves the performance of the device.

The quantity and the speed of forming the scale, and consequently,

the necessity of cleaning depend on the water hardness in your

region and the intensity of the device usage. All over fur of scale in

with a soft wet sponge or cloth. Soapy water can be used.

- Rinse the kettle and wipe it dry.

- Let the device get fully dry before using.

- Any other kinds of maintenance should be performed by qualied

personnel in a servicing center.

Storage

- Switch off the kettle and let it completely cool before storage.

- Wipe and dry the kettle before storage.

- Do not wind the power line cord around the kettle until it is

completely cooled down.

- Store the kettle in a cool, dry and clean place beyond the assess

of children and people with limited physical and mental abilities.

Environmental protection

Old appliances contain valuable materials that can be recycled.

Please arrange for the proper recycling of old appliances. Please

dispose your old appliances using appropriate collection systems.

Sicherheitshinweise

Sehr geehrter Kunde, die Einhaltung der üblichen

Sicherheitsvorschriften sowie der in dieser Anleitung

dargelegten Vorschriften gewährleistet eine äußerst sichere

Nutzung des Gerätes.

VORSICHT!

- Tauchen Sie das elektrische Haushaltsgerät, seinen Netzkabel

und Netzstecker niemals in Wasser und andere Flüssigkeiten.

- Achten Sie darauf, dass kein Wasser und keine Feuchtigkeit auf

den Sockel und die inneren elektrischen Bauteile außerhalb des

Wasserbehälters eindringen.

- Berühren Sie das Gerät nicht mit nassen bzw. feuchten Händen.

- Nehmen Sie den Wasserkocher vor dem Einfüllen mit Wasser

oder zur Reinigung bitte immer vom Sockel ab.

- Berühren Sie das Wasser im Wasserkocher nicht, wenn dieser auf

seinem Sockel steht.

Die Nichtbeachtung der o. a. Hinweise besteht die Gefahr eines

elektrischen Schlags!

- Lassen Sie Kinder mit dem Gerät oder den Verpackungsteilen

nicht spielen.

- Achten Sie darauf, dass das Netzkabel mit keinen heißen und

scharfen Oberächen in Berührung kommt, die es beschädigen

können.

- Lassen Sie das Netzkabel nicht über den Rand des Tisches

hängen, achten Sie darauf, dass es nicht stark gespannt, nicht

verwickelt und nicht überdreht ist.

- Werfen Sie das Gerät nicht, lassen Sie es nicht herunterfallen

oder stürzen.

- Benutzen Sie das Gerät niemals im Freien.

- Lassen Sie den eingeschalteten Wasserkocher nicht in einem

Raum hinter, in dem die Temperatur unter Null fallen kann. Bei einer

Raumtemperatur unter Null kann sich der Thermostat des Gerätes

automatisch zum Sieden einschalten und das Gerät in Betrieb

setzen.

VORSICHT!

- Die Oberäche des Gerätes wird im Betrieb stark heiß. Seien

Sie vorsichtig, weil Sie sich beim Berühren von Oberächen des

Gehäuses oder Deckels, Wasser oder Dampf verbrennen können.

- Öffnen Sie den Deckel des Gerätes während des Wasserkochens

nicht.

- Tragen Sie den Wasserkocher nicht am Deckel.

- Fassen und tragen Sie den Wasserkocher nur am Griff, berühren

Sie nur die Geräteknöpfe.

- Befüllen Sie den Wasserkocher nicht über die Maximalmarke

„MAX“.

- Stellen Sie den Wasserkocher nur auf einer trockenen,

standfesten, ebenen und rutschsicheren Oberäche.

Sockel, das Netzkabel und den Stecker niemals in Wasser oder

andere Flüssigkeiten.

Reinigung von den Kalkablagerungen

Die Kalkablagerungen können entweder mit Hilfe der

handelsüblichen Kalkentferner oder auf eine der folgenden Weisen

entfernt werden

WEISE 1

- Füllen Sie den Wasserkocher bis zur Maximalmarkierung mit

einem Gemisch aus einem Teil Essig und zwei Teilen Wasser auf.

Schalten Sie den Wasserkocher ein, lassen Sie ihn aufkochen und

sich automatisch ausschalten.

- Lassen Sie das Gemisch im Wasserkocher im Laufe von 10-12

Stunden stehen, dann schütten Sie es weg.

- Füllen Sie den Wasserkocher mit reinem Wasser bis zur

Maximalmarkierung und bringen Sie es zum Kochen. Schütten Sie

dieses Wasser auch weg, um die Reste der Ablagerung und des

Essigs zu entfernen.

- Spülen Sie das Gerät innen mit reinem Wasser aus, danach

wischen und trocknen Sie den Wasserkocher aus.
