This Stealthbox is a product which
requires professional installation skills and
tools.
Please read this installation guide thor-
oughly before beginning the project. It
will guide you step by step through the
installation. Several of the steps in this
process may require two people to
accomplish.
It is absolutely vital that the enclosure
be properly mounted to the vehicle
according to these instructions. Failure
to mount the enclosure properly pres-
ents two problems: 1) The sub-bass
performance will suffer due to the
movement of the enclosure caused by
the force exerted by the woofer(s) and
2) A loose enclosure presents a serious
safety hazard in the event of a collision
or sudden deceleration.

STEP 1:
Remove any contents from the
trunk.
STEP 2:
Remove the trunk flooring.
STEP 3:
Remove the spare tire and foam
pad.
STEP 4:
Remove the driver’s side black plastic
floor stand.
Replace bolts A & B back into the floor.
STEP 5:
Remove the factory amp.
STEP 6:
Place the supplied wax square onto
the bottom area of the third indentation.
These indentations are located on the rear
wall of the trunk, just below the opening.

STEP 7: Thread in the supplied 2-1/4” Socket
Cup Set Screw into the threaded insert of the
enclosure, leaving 1/2” exposed.
STEP 11: Place the blunt end of a flat blade screw
driver between the round button and the washer of
the snap.Twisting the screw driver, will force the but-
ton to pop out, as pictured.
Remove both snap assemblies.

STEP 8: Place the Stealthbox into position.
Press down firmly on the rear of the enclosure.
Remove the Stealthbox.
STEP 12: Unthread the Socket Cup Set Screw to
expose 1-3/4”.
Place the Stealthbox back into the trunk area.
Guide the Socket Cup Set Screw through the drilled
hole from STEP 9.

STEP 13: From under the vehicle, locate the
Socket Cup Set Screw.You will need to slightly pull
out the rear bumper cover to gain access to the
Socket Cup Set Screw.
Apply the supplied Fender Washer, Flat Washer, Lock
Washer and Hex Nut onto the Socket Cup Set
Screw, as pictured.
STEP 14: (A) Attach the supplied L-bracket onto
the Stealthbox with using the supplied
Spilt Lock
Washer, Flat Washer and 3/8-16x1” Hex Tap
Bolt
.
(B) Attach the other side of the L-bracket to the
factory threaded hole, with the supplied
Spilt Lock
Washer, Flat Washer and 8mm x16mm Hex
Bolt.
(C) Run Speaker wire and attach to the terminal.
STEP 9: *CAUTION*
Before drilling, make sure that you are not going to
be drilling into any gas lines, brake lines, transmission
lines, electrical wiring, transfer case(4x4 vehicles) or
anything else that might cause a reduction in your
weekly pay. Always wear eye protection when drilling.
With the use of a 1/2” drill bit and drill. Drill out the
floor at the impression on the wax square.
Do not allow the drill bit to totally insert into this
drilled hole.The rear bumper cover is a few inches
behind this trunk wall.
STEP 10: Look under the rear bumper.You will
see a pair of plastic panel snaps.

crossover, infrasonic filter and equalizer settings for the e2150 when being used to power your Stealthbox®.

1) Wax Square
1) 3/8-16x2-1/4” Socket Set Screw
1) 3/8”-16 Hex Nut
1) 8mm x16mm Hex Bolt

The JL Audio e2150 is a very versatile audio component. Please consult the owner’s manual for detailed information
about installing and tuning this amplifier.

STEP 12: If the factory amplifier is to be kept.
Remove the amp from the mounting bracket.Then
mount the amplifier in front of the Stealthbox.
STEP 13: Place the foam pad and spare tire back
into the trunk, from STEP 3&4.
STEP 14: Place the flooring and any contents that
was removed, back into the trunk.
