IMPORTANT SAFEGUARD:
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Before using the unit, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the convenience
outlet (230Va.c.).
3. Do not use two-way socket with another appliance.
4. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it
should be replaced with the same type and size or bring the unit to the nearest
authorized service center.
5. Do not place the unit near a gas stove, an electric burner or in a heated oven.
6. Place the unit on a stable surface; keep it away from the edge of the counter to avoid
accidents.
7. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliances
by a person responsible for their safety.
8. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
9. Extreme caution must be exercised when using an appliance containing hot water in
the multi-cooker when boilin g.
10. Do not allow the cord to touch the hot surface of the unit.
11. For protection against electric shock, do not immerse the unit including the power
base in water or any other liquid.
12. Always ensure that the li d is closed and do not lift it while the water in the multi-cooker
is boiling. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the cooking cycle. Do not
touch the hot surfaces of the rice cooker.
13. Allow the unit to cool down before cleaning.
14. Not intended for outdoor use.
15. Never place the multi-cooker near hot surfaces.
16. No parts are dishwasher safe.
17. Do not exceed into the maximum capacity if the multi-cooker is overlled, boiling
water may come out due to cooking food below the recommended minimum level or
above the maximum level.
18. Carry or move the multi-cooker only by its handle.
19. In case of malfunctions, please bring the Multi-cooker to the nearest Authorized
Imarflex Service Center.
20. Avoid water spillage into the socket, connector, cord and alike.
21. Multi-cooker body may get very hot, be careful when handling.
22. Use of accessories or equipment not supplied by the manufacturer may cause
damage or malfunctioning of your appliance or result in injuries.
23. Use on a hard, flat level surface only, to avoid interruption of air ow underneath t he
appliance.
24. For household use only, not intended for any business purposes.
25. Do not use this unit other than its intended use.
SAFETY CAUTION:
1. When washing the rice, always use another container and not the inner or outer pot
as over time the pot will be damaged if used in this manner.
2. The rice cooker will not function if the outer pot is not placed inside the cooker.
3. Keep the base of the outer pot and the heater surface clean and dry. Foreign objects
located between the outer pot and heater surface will cause the rice cooker to
malfunction.
4. Do not forcibly turn ON the appliance. If it is dicult to close the lid, check for incorrect
placement of the outer pot or if there are foreign objects on the heating plate.
5. It is recommended not to use the keep warm function for more than 4 hours. Whilst
the multi-cooker may not get damaged, the rice will become discolored and a burnt
smell may be detected.
6. Correct measurement of one cup of rice is when the rice grains are level with the top
of the cup.
DESCRIPTION OF PARTS:

BEFORE USE:
- Wipe the exterior of the outer pot with a clean cloth before placing in the cooker body.
Rotate the outer pot so that it is sitting evenly on the heating element. Make sure that
there are no foreign objects on the bottom surface of the outer pot or on the heating
element of the cooker. Place the inner pot onto the outer pot. Make sure it is placed
on the three lifting rod s.
HOW TO USE:
I – ‘LOW SUGAR’ RICE COOKING (Maximum of 2 Cups)
When choosing ‘LOW SUGAR’ cooking, this function must be used with
stainless steel inner pot. Select suitable water level according to cups of rice.
1. Measure the amount of rice needed with the measuring cup provided. Wash the rice
in a separate bowl to avoid damage to the pot.
2. The maximum capacity for ‘low sugar’ cooking rice is 2 cups of uncooked rice.
3. Put the washed rice into the inner pot (strainer).
4. Fill the with water up to the appropriate water outer pot
level.
Low Sugar Water Guide:
Level 1 Cup of Rice –1
Level 2 Cups of Rice–2
For example: if 2 cups of rice is used, the water level
should reach the number ‘2’ line of low sugar cup labeled
inside the outer pot.
For more eective results in cooking 1 cup of rice,
you may choose to ll the water up to the ‘2’ water
line, even if cooking for 1 cup of rice to eectively
lter starch for low sugar results.

multi-cooker, then plug it securely into a household electrical power outlet.
7. Turn ON the power supply, a beep sound will be heard. The screen will show 00:00
and sta light indicator will be ashing. It indicates that the multi-cooker will now be rt
in standby mode.
8. Press ‘LOW SUGAR once’ button for SOFT rice texture, (1) will appear on the
display. Press ‘LOW SUGAR’ button twice for FLUFFY rice texture, (2) will appear
on the display. Press ‘LOW SUGAR’ button three times for FLUFFIER rice texture,
(3) will appear on the display. The selector and start light indicator will be flashing,
then button to start the cooking process. The selector and start press the START
indicator light will be solid and the screen will scroll dynamically to indicate that
cooking is in progress.
9. When the rice is cooked, 3 beep sounds will be heard and the cooker will
automatically switch to keep warm mode and the keep warm icon will light up ‘ ‘.
A timer will start counting up and the display
will show the running time that it is in
keep warm mode. (Example: Display shows
00:12, it indicates that the cooker is in keep
warm mode for 12 minutes). If you desire to
cancel the function, press and hold the
‘Cancel’ button for 3 seconds to enter into a
standby mode.
Note:
- there is no selection in 5 seconds, it will automatically enter into a standby If
mode.
- If the unit is on standby for more than 5 minutes, it will automatically turn o.
- It is normal that the (3) lifting rods are in upward position after cooking
process. It will automatically go down once you start the next cooking process.
II – ‘NORMAL’ RICE COOKING
1. Measure the amount of rice needed with the measuring cup provided. Wash the rice
in a separate bowl to avoid damage to the . outer pot
2. The maximum capacity for ‘normal’ cooking rice is 4 cups of uncooked rice.
3. Put the washed rice into the .outer pot
4. Fill the with water up to the appropriate water outer pot
level.
For Example: If 4 cups of rice is used, the water level
should reach the number ‘4’ line of rice cup labeled inside
the . outer pot
Water level may increase or reduce depending on
personal preference and suited rice quantity.
5. Place the into the unit. outer pot
6. Lock the lid properly. Connect the power cord to the multi-cooker, then plug it securely
into a household electrical power outlet.
7. Turn ON the power supply, a beep sound will be heard. The screen will show 00:00
and start light indicator will be ashing. It indicates that the multi-cooker will now be
in standby mode.
8. Press the ‘NORMAL’ button once, the selector and start light indicator will be flashing
then button to start the cooking process. The selector and start press START
indicator light will be solid and the screen will scroll dynamically to indicate that
cooking is in progress.
9. When the rice is cooked, 3 beep sounds will be heard and the cooker will
automatically switch to keep warm mode and the keep warm icon will light up ‘ ‘.

III – ‘MULTI GRAIN’ COOKING-
1. Measure the amount of multi-grain needed with the measuring cup provided. Wash
in a separate bowl to avoid damage to outer pot.
2. The maximum capacity for ‘multi grain’ rice cooking is 4 -
cups of uncooked rice.
3. Put the washed multi-grain into the . outer pot
4. Fill the with water up to the appropriate water outer pot
level.
For Example: If 2 cups of multi-grain is used, the water level should reach the number
‘4’ line of rice cup labeled inside the outer pot.
Water level may be increased or reduced depending on personal.
5. Place the into the unit.outer pot
6. Lock the lid properly. Connect the power cord to the multi-cooker, then plug it securely
into a household electrical power outlet.
7. Turn ON the power supply, a beep sound will be heard. The screen will show 00:00
and start light indicator will be ashing. It indicates that the multi-cooker will now be
in standby mode.
8. Press ‘MENU’ button three times MULTI- to select ‘ GRAIN’ function. The selector
and start indicator light will be ashing, and the screen will : then show ‘-- --’,
press START button to start the cooking process. The selector and start indicator
light will be solid and the screen will scroll dynamically to indicates that cooking is in
progress. Please note that the timer cannot be changed.
9. When the cooking process is completed, 3 beep sounds will be heard and the cooker
will automatically switch to keep warm mode and the keep warm icon will light up
‘ ‘. A timer will start counting up and the display will show the running time that
it is in keep warm mode. For best result, leave the lid on for about 15 minutes under
keep warm function.
Note: When choosing the ‘MULTI GRAIN’ rice cooking, - the water level should not
exceed the maximum water level indicated on the outer pot water level guide.
IV – ‘STEAM’ FOOD STEAMING
1. To steam a food, Fill the with water up to the outer pot
appropriate water level. Make sure to not exceed the ‘MAX’
mark or below the ‘MIN’ mark followed by placing the inner
pot (strainer) outer pot on top of the then place the food.
2. Lock the lid properly. Connect the power cord to the multi-
cooker, then plug it securely into a household electrical
power outlet.
3. Turn ON the power supply, a beep sound will be heard, 00:00 will appear on the
display and start light indicator will be ashing. It indicates that the multi-cooker will
now be in standby mode.
4. Press the ‘MENU’ button twice to select the Steam function. The selector and start
light indicator will be ashing, and the screen will show the default time ‘01:00’.
5. User can press the button ‘+’ to increase or ‘ ‘ to decrease the steaming time from -
minimum 00:15 minutes to a maximum of 02:00 hours. After deciding on the steaming
time, button to start the steaming process.press START
6. The selector and start indicator light will be solid and the screen will show the default
time of ’01:00’ to indicate that the cooking is in progress.
7. When the steaming process is completed 3 beep sounds will be heard and the ,
cooker will automatically switch to keep warm mode and the keep warm icon will light
up ‘ ‘. A timer will start counting up and the display will show the running time
that it is in mode. For best result, leave the lid on for about 15 minutes keep warm
under keep warm function.
Note: Timer Countdown will only begin after water is boiled.
V – ‘PORRIDGE’ COOKING
1. Measure the amount of rice needed with the measuring cup provided. Wash in a
separate bowl to avoid damage to . outer pot
2. The maximum capacity of rice for porridge cooking is 1 cup of uncooked rice.
3. Put the washed rice into the . outer pot
4. Fill the with water up to the appropriate water outer pot
level.
For Example: If 1 cup of rice is used, the water level should
reach the number ‘ ’ line 1 of porridge cup labeled inside the
outer pot.
Water level may increase or reduce depending on
personal preference and suited rice quantity.
5. Lock the lid properly. Connect the power cord to the multi-cooker, then plug it securely
into a household electrical power outlet.
6. Press the ‘MENU’ button four times to select the porridge function. The selector and
start light indicator will be flashing, and the screen will show the default time ‘01:30’.
7. User can press the button ‘+’ to increase or ‘ ‘ to decrease the - cooking time from
minimum 00: minutes to a maximum of 02:00 hours. After deciding on the cooking 50
time, button to start the cooking process. press START
8. When the cooking process is completed, 3 beep sounds will be heard and the cooker
will automatically switch to keep warm mode and the keep warm icon will light up
‘ ‘. A timer will start counting up and the display will show the running time that
it is in keep warm mode. For best result, leave the lid on for about 15 minutes under
keep warm function.
Note: When choosing the ‘PORRIDGE’ cooking, the water level should not exceed
the maximum water level indicated on the outer pot water level guide.
VI – ‘SOUP’ COOKING
1. Fill the with water up to the appropriate water outer pot
level. Make sure to not exceed the ‘MAX’ or below the
‘MIN’ water level mark labeled inside the . outer pot
2. Put the ingredients into the outer pot.
3. Place the outer into the unit.
4. Lock the lid properly. Connect the power cord to the
multi-cooker, then plug it securely into a household
electrical power outlet.
5. Press the ‘MENU’ button five times to select the soup function. The selector and start
light indicator will be flashing, and the screen will show the default time ’02:00’.
6. User can press the button ‘+’ to increase or ‘ ‘ to decrease the - cooking time from
minimum 01:30 hours to a maximum of 04:00 hours. After deciding on the soup
cooking time, button to start the cooking process. press START
7. When the cooking process is comple dte , 3 beep sounds will be heard and the cooker
will automatically switch to keep warm mode and the keep warm icon will light up
‘ ‘. A timer will start counting up and the display will show the running time that
it is in keep warm mode. For best result, leave the lid on for about 15 minutes under
keep warm function.
VI PRESET TIMER –
- First, select and set your desired cooking function. In the standby mode, press the
‘PRESET TIMER’ button, the default preset timer is 02:00 hours. You can press the
button ‘+’ to increase or ‘ ‘ to decrease the preset time. After deciding your preset -
time, press the START button to start. (The screen will show the preset time)
VII KEEP WARM FUNCTION –
- When the cooking process is complete in any function, it will automatically switch to
keep warm mode and the keep warm icon will light up ‘ ‘. A timer will start
counting up and the display will show the running time that it is in keep warm mode.
For best result, leave the lid on for about 15 minutes under keep warm function.
- You can also keep your food warm by pressing the button ‘Menu’ six times to select
the keep warm function. The selector and start light indicator will be flashing, and the
screen will show the default time ’00:00’. Press START button to start t keep warm he
process the a timer will start counting up and the display will show the running time n
that it is in keep warm mode. The keep warm light indicator will light up. Press and
hold the button for 3 seconds to enter in standby mode. ‘Cancel’
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
Always follow the correct way to clean which can help you maintain the
appliance to avoid unnecessary loss.
1. Always unplug the appliance after use and allow the appliance to cool down
completely before cleaning.
2. Do not use a metal scoop to scoop out the rice because the inner pot may get
damaged. Always use the rice scoop provided.
3. Do not use abrasive sponges, scouring pads, or sti brushes to clean your rice
cooker. The stainless steel inner pot, outer pot, rice scoop, soup ladle may be cleaned
with mild soupy water using sponge of soft cloth.
4. Wipe the exterior surfaces with damp cloth.
5. Check that there is no foreign objects in the inner part of tice cooker, heater or the
centre thermostat. Remove them if found. Wipe surface with damp cloth.
6. The inner part of the lid should be cleaned as frequent as possible with damp cloth
or it can be washed with soap and water, push the inner lid button to remove the inner
lid.
