Phillips Screw Driver

Socket set (Standard & Metric)

Wire Cutters Wire Crimping tool

7/16 wrench T-20 Torx Bit

NOTE:

If your vehicle has the optional carpet interior, there will be a small

hole in the carpet not covered by the console housing at the rear.

If desired, an optional cover plate part number - CM001642 is available.

Remove O.E.M. plastic center

console

Remove Ignition proximity sensor /

antenna from rear underside of

O.E.M. console.

(Phillips Screwdriver)

** SEE NOTE BELOW **

Remove sensor and 12 volt socket

wire harness assembly from under

side of O.E.M. console.

Pop out “AUX” socket from center

of O.E.M console.

O.E.M. console prior to

C-VS-0809-CHGR-1 console

installation.

Remove forward O.E.M console

plastic cover and remove two (2)

nuts from front ﬂoor bracket.

Nuts to be reused. (10mm)

Remove bolts that hold underside

of extrusion to rear ﬂoor bracket.

(7/16 wrench)

Remove rear ﬂoor bracket bolts

and center console bolt. (10mm)

Carefully place console assembly

between seats and onto front O.E.M.

ﬂoor studs.

On 2011 Charger, attach Ignition

proximity sensor /antenna to

transmission hump with Velcro.

NOTE: 2012 and newer cars include

an O.E.M. bracket with this sensor

already relocated. Velcro mounting

will not be needed

Plug O.E.M. wire harness back

onto original connectors.

Passenger side

C-VS-0809-CHGR-1_INST_4-11

Cut oﬀ O.E.M 12 volt socket

connectors and attach 1/4 spade

connectors on O.E.M. wires. O.E.M.

wire will need to be extended for rear

socket. If desired, new heavier gauge

wires can be installed instead of

using O.E.M. wiring.

Push Console assembly forward and

tighten all ﬂoor mount bracket

hardware. Run all wiring as needed.

Loosely attach rear of console to

existing ﬂoor inserts. Inserts located

under rubber mat as shown.

Reconnect under dash “AUX”

USB connectors back together.

Plug spade connectors onto 12 volt

sockets.

Positive Pink wire connects to

center (silver) spade and Negative

Black wire to outboard (gold)

spade.

Prior to installing passenger side

trim panel, ﬁrmly push in the

O.E.M. Auxiliary socket assembly

into cutout. “AUX” lettering goes

toward the front of vehicle.

Install 12 volt socket into 7/8” hole

or close oﬀ with supplied plug.

Attach passenger and driver side

trim panels on with # 8 x 1/4 Flat

Head Screws. (3 screws each panel

included with hardware kit)

(Phillips Screwdriver)

Loosely attach previously removed

nuts onto front ﬂoor studs.

(10mm)

Use OEM screws (if provided) or

1/4 x 3/4 self threading screws

(included in hardware kit) to mount

rear of console. (7/16 wrench)

Place # KRM98017 Rubber “O”

Ring onto AUX socket assembly.

Push ring all the way on. This

allows for a tight ﬁt when installed.
