O ' M GT6/200wner s anual
Thank you for purchasing our guitar & bass tuner GT6/200. Please
read this manual carefully, before initially using the device. After
reading, please keep the manual for future reference.
Using the unit in one of these locations may lead to malfunction . . .
z. . . in direct sunlight,
z. . . under extreme high temperatures or humidity,
z. . . in excessively dusty of dirty locations,
z. . . locations, where the unit is exposed to excessive vibrations,
z. . . locations, where the unit might get wet,
z. . . close to strong magnetic elds.
Be sure to turn off the power when the unit is not in use. Remove the
batteries to prevent the unit from getting damaged by battery leakage,
when the unit will not be used for a longer period of time.
zTo avoid breakage, do not apply excessive force to the switches
or controls.
zNever submerge the unit into water or any other liquid. Only wipe
it with a clean dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners as benzene,
thinner, or cleaning compounds containing ammable polishes.
zIf the unit refuses to be operated as described in this manual, take
out the batteries and put them back in. This will reset the unit and
hopefully solve the problem.
Keep this unit away from liquids. If liquid gets into the housing, the
device could be seriously damaged. Be also careful, not to let any
metal objects enter the unit.
1. Keep the ON/OFF button pressed for 2-3 seconds to turn the unit
on of off. When turning on, the LED light ashes from C to B. When
turning off, the LED light ashes from B to C. If the unit does not
receive any signal within 20 minutes, it will automatically power off.
2. Connect an electric instrument to the INPUT socket. To tune an
acoustic instrument, leave the INPUT socket unplugged and move
the GT6/200 near to the sounding part of the music instrument, so
the built-in microphone (MIC) can detect the notes.
3. When tuning, the LED light will be on to indicate the note and the
accuracy. When the difference of the note is less than 5 cents, the
upper central green light will be on. If the difference of the note
compared to the target note is more than 5 cents up, the right side
red LED (HI) will begin to light together with the central green light.
If the note is more than 5 cents down, the left side red light (LOW)
will begin to light. The lighting degree of the right or left side light
will change as the note difference changes. When the note differ-
ence is more than 20 cents, the central green light will be off and
the side red light will be on for the strongest degree.
If the lighting of the LEDs decreases, the batteries must be replaced.
Open the battery compartment and take out the weak batteries. Replace
them by 2 fresh ones with same specs. Take care for correct polarity,
otherwise the unit won't work and might get damaged.
