1. Improperuseofthismetercancausedamage,shock,       injury or death. Read and understand this

usermanualbefore operating themeter.

2. Makesureany andcoversorbatterydoors are properlyclosed ured.

3. Always beforeremovethetestleads replacingthebatteryorfuses.

4. Inspectthe               condition of the test leads and the meter itself for any damage before operating the

meter.Repairanydamagebeforeuse.

5. Donotexceedthemaximumratedinputlimits.

6. Use 25VACgreatcarewhenmakingmeasurements greater thanifthevoltagesare   rmsor

35VDC.Thesevoltagesareconsidered a shockhazard.

7. Alwaysdischargecapacitorsandremovepowerfromthedeviceundertestbeforeperforming

Diode,Resistanceor Continuity tests.

8. Removethe the the longbatteryfrom meterif meteristobestoredfor periods.

9. Toavoidelectric measureshock,donot ACcurrentof  any kind

Note:If“H”and meter a blankscreenappearwhenthe isturnedontheHOLDfeatureisactive.

PresstheHOLD HOLDbutton to exitthe mode.

ACorDCVoltageMeasurements

1. Insertthe the theblack leadtest bananapluginto negative COM jackand redtestlead banana

plugintothepositive Vjack.

2. Turnthe therotaryswitchto highest VAC or VDC position.

3. Touch onthe the thetestprobesto circuitundertestandread voltage thedisplay.

4. Resetthefunctionswitchto lower tosuccessively positions obtain a higherresolutionreading.If

the thepolarityisreversed(DC voltage only),  display willshow minus ‐ ( ) beforethevalue.

DCCurrentMeasurements

CAUTION:Donotmakecurrentmeasurementsonthe 10A scaleforlongerthan15seconds

followedby a 15minutecooldownperiod.Exceeding15 thesecondsmay damagecause to 

meterand/orthetestleads.

1. Insertthe theblack leadtest bananapluginto negative COM jack.

2. For current measurementsupto to200mADC, switchsetthefunction  the200mADCposition

andinsert the the redtest bananalead pluginto V/



/mAjack.

3. For current measurementsupto10ADC,           set the function switch to the 10A DC range and insert

the theredtestleadbananapluginto 10Ajack.

4. Removepower test,fromthecircuitunder thenopenupthecircuitatthe point where  you wish

tomeasurecurrent.

5. Touch ofthe theblacktest probe tipto negativeside thecircuit.

6. Applypowertothecircuit.

7. Readthe thecurrentin display.
