Product description
This is an adjustable detector for non-contact detection of alternating currents, which can be used
for voltages between 5 and 1000 V, frequency of 50 – 500 Hz.
Battery Replacement
Turn the belt clip a quarter of a turn in the direction of the arrow (clockwise), open the battery
compartment and remove the old batteries, insert new batteries with the minus (-) side facing left
as shown on the battery lid. Turn the belt clip back to its regular position.

Please note:
1. The detector should not be used for voltage exceeding 1000 VAC.
2. Normal working temperature is -10 °C to +50 °C and humidity up to 80 %.
3. The detector should always be tested on a familiar voltage source to check its operation
before checking unknown circuits.
4. Do not use the detector in rain or fog.
5. Do not use a damaged detector.
6. Static electricity may occur if the case is rubbed while the “press switch” is pressed down;
this may cause the light-emitting diode to ash which is entirely normal.
7. Retain this operations manual.
