Classic Compressor/Limiter Eects Pedal
Thank you for showing your condence in us by purchasing the
Behringer COMPRESSOR/LIMITER CL9. This ultimate eects pedal
is specically designed to achieve super-smooth compression and
extended sustain. Thanks to its high-performance features you
can compress loud and boost low signals without degrading the
original sound.
A compressor limits the dynamic range of a signal. This means that
signal peaks will be attenuated and the level dierences between
loudest and softest playing are reduced. This results in a more
powerful tone.
1. Controls
(1) The control determines how fast the compressor ATTACK TIME
responds to input signal peaks.
(2) The LEVEL control adjusts the output level.
(3) The SUSTAIN control determines the amount of compression.
(4) The LED illuminates when the eect is activated. It also ON/BATT
serves as a battery level indicator.
(5) Use the footswitch to activate/deactivate the eect.
(6) Use this ¼" TS connector to plug in the instrument cable.IN
(7) The ¼" TS connector sends the signal to your amp. OUT
Use the connection to plug in a 9 V power supply (not included). DC IN

To install or replace the 9 V battery (not included), press the hinges with
a ballpoint pen and remove the pedal cover. Be careful not to scratch
the unit.

◊ ◊ The CL9 has no on/o switch. As soon as you insert the plug
into the in connector, the CL9 is on. When not in use, remove
the plug from the in connector. This extends the life of
the battery.
The SERIAL NUMBER is located at the underside.

attachments/accessories. Do not service product yourself. Contact our
qualied servicing personnel for servicing or repairs, especially when
power supply cord or plug is damaged.

3COMPRESSOR/LIMITER CL9
Muchas gracias por la conanza que has depositado en nosotros
al adquirir el COMPRESSOR/LIMITER CL9 de Behringer. Este pedal
de efectos ha sido diseñado para proporcionarte una compresión
supersuave y un sustain muy largo. Sus excepcionales características
te permiten comprimir señales fuertes y aumentar señales débiles sin
degradar el sonido original.
Un compresor restringe el rango dinámico de una señal, es decir, reduce
la diferencia entre señales con un nivel muy alto y señales con un nivel
muy bajo, lo que resulta en un sonido más potente y compacto.
1. Controles
(1) Con el control ATTACK TIME determinas cuán rápido responde el
compresor a picos de señal.
(2) Con el control determinas el nivel de salida.LEVEL
(3) Con el control SUSTAIN determinas la cantidad de compresión.
(4) El se ilumina al activar el efecto, y también sirve LED ON/BATT
como indicador de la carga de la batería.
(5) Al presionar el pedal activas/desactivas el efecto.
(6) Entrada jack de 6,3 mm para conectar tu instrumento.
(7) Salida jack de 6,3 mm para enviar la señal al amplicador.
El conector te permite enchufar a tu pedal un adaptador de DC IN
corriente de 9 V (no incluido).
El COMPARTIMENTO DE LA BATERÍA se encuentra debajo de la cubierta
superior del pedal. Para instalar o cambiar la batería de 9 V (no incluida),
presiona las bisagras laterales con un bolígrafo y retira la cubierta del
pedal. Ten cuidado de no rayar la unidad.

apagado. Éste se enciende tan pronto conectas tu
instrumento en la entrada IN. Si no vas a utilizar el pedal,
desconecta el cable de la entrada IN para prolongar la vida
de la batería.
