HCP-1000 Planum
Antec’s High Current Pro Planum series is the pinnacle of power supplies. High Current Pro Planum
is fully modular with a revoluonary 20+8-pin MBU socket for the needs of tomorrow. By using a PSU
that is 80 PLUS® PLATINUM cered & ErP Lot 6: 2013, operang up to 94% ecient, you can reduce
your electricity bill by up to 25% when compared to many other power supplies. HCP Planum’s
innovave 16-pin sockets create a new level of exibility by doubling the modular connecvity,
supporng two dierent 8-pins connectors and even future connectors of 10, 12, 14 or 16-pins. Backed
by a 7-year warranty and lifeme global 24/7 support, the HCP-1000 Planum embodies everything a
power supply can accomplish today.
STANDARDS AND FEATURES
The connectors and power specicaons of the HCP-1000 Planum PSU are all compable with
ATX12V v2.32 and EPS12V v2.92 specicaons. The HCP-1000 Planum features Universal Input, which
automacally senses when you connect the power supply to any AC power source between 100 - 240V
without seng a voltage switch. This power supply also features Acve Power Factor Correcon (PFC),
which improves the power factor value of the power supply by altering the input current wave shape,
helping to power transmission across the grid.
SYSTEM PROTECTION
A variety of industrial-grade safety circuitry will help protect your computer: Over Current Protecon
(OCP), Over Voltage Protecon (OVP), Under Voltage Protecon (UVP), Short Circuit Protecon (SCP),
Over Power Protecon (OPP), Over Temparature Protecon (OTP), Surge & Inrush Protecon (SIP), No
Load Operaon (NLO) & Brown-Out Protecon (BOP). Somemes the PSU will “latch” into a protected
state. You will need to power o the PSU and clear the fault before it will funcon again. There are no
user-replaceable fuses in your HCP-1000 Planum.

MODULAR CABLE JACKS
There are six 5-pin black jacks and ve 16-pin black jacks on the back of your HCP-1000 Planum PSU.
These jacks are for the oponal cables that come with your power supply.
Cauon: Please connect only cables provided with this HCP-1000 Planum. Other cables may not be
compable!
20+8-pin MBU connecon
You can connect 1 or 2 modular 8-pin cables into any of the 16-pin sockets
OC Link™ System Installaon
Connect the included OC Link™ cable to two Antec HCP Planum power supplies. You can use any
combinaon of models such as 850 + 1000 or 1300 + 1300. You can connect any system component to
either PSU without restricons. Please read the chapter “INSTALLATION” for general installaon help.
Please turn the “I/O” switch on both power supplies to “I” (On). Aer compleon of set-up, simply turn
on the system.
