Beskrivning

IR-2ML (inkl varianter) är en tvåkanalig programmerbar IR-mottagare

med två potentialfria växlande reläkontakter. Mottagaren kan pro-

grammeras med alla GewaLink kanaler, kodad kanal (4096) och

Infra-code. Alternativt kan mottagaren ställas i ett läge där reläerna

aktiveras oberoende av vilken kanal man sänder (Publik funktion).

Mottagarens reläer kan också oberoende av varandra fås att arbeta

bistabilt eller monostabilt.

Montering

Börja med att snäppa loss locket och skruva isär ramen från botten-

plattan. Eventuellt kan detektorledning lossas så att lock med detek-

tor inte hänger i vägen vid inkoppling. Skruva fast bottenplattan mot

vägg och anslut alla ledningar till kretskortet.

Detektoranslutning

Vid anslutning av detektor skall ledarnas färger anslutas enligt

märkningen på guren. Om äldre typer av detektorer som saknar gul

ledare skall anslutas måste ett motstånd tas bort vid varje detektor-

ingång. (Kontakta GEWA för vidare information). Var noggrann vid

inkoppling så att ledarna kommer rätt. Fel inkoppling kan ge skador

på elektroniken. Max två detektorer går att koppla in.

Reläanslutning

Mottagaren har två växlande potentialfria reläkontakter som ansluts

på plint Re 1 och Re 2. Se tekniska data för max reläbelastning. Vid

anslutning av induktiva laster, t ex motorer och reläer bör dessa av-

störas.

Strömförsörjning

Mottagaren matas med 12 - 24 V stabiliserad DC (-5% +20%) eller 24

V AC (+/- 20%) på plint mellan Re 1 och Re 2. Obser-vera polariteten

vid matning med likspänning.

Bistabil funktion

Med omkopplare 3 väljs om reläerna skall ha monostabil eller bistabil

funktion. "On"-läge ger bistabil funktion och "O"-läge ger monosta-

bil funktion.

Publik funktion

Publik funktion innebär att mottagaren accepterar alla kanaler inom

GewaLink systemet, 4096 kod och Infra-code oberoende vilken kanal

eller kod som sänds. En kanal eller kod (kan vara vilken som helst)

måste dock först programmeras in för att den publika funktionen ska

fungera. Detta kan vara användbart i vissa sammanhang där använ-

daren inte skall behöva hålla reda på vilken kanal som går till en viss

funktion. OBS! Denna funktion kan inte användas om era mottagare

sitter inom synligt område därför att mottagarna kommer att påver-

kas samtidigt. Publik/normal funktion väljs med omkopplare 4. "On"-

läge ger publik funktion och "O"-läge ger normal funktion.

Programmering

Bestäm om reläet skall ha bistabil eller monostabil funktion. Detta

väljs med omkopplare 3 på kretskortet. Bestäm därefter om reläet

skall arbeta med normal eller publik funktion. Detta väljs med om-

kopplare 4. Tryck på den sändarkanal som önskas inprogrammerad

samtidigt som programmeringsknapp 1 hålles intryckt. Mottagaren

bekräftar inprogrammeringen genom att relä och indikeringslampa

drar resp blinkar två gånger. Nu är programmeringen klar för relä 1.

Gör nu likadant för mottagarens relä 2 fast då med programmerings-

knapp 2 och en annan sändarkanal osv. Är man inte nöjd med vald

kanal gör man om proceduren. Varning! Kom ihåg att vid program-

mering aktiveras det aktuella reläet. GewaLink kanaler 0-127 (kanal

62 har ingen funktion), 4096 kod och Infra-code går att programmera

in. OBS! Räckvidden minskar om detektorögat täcks eller på annat

sätt skyms, t ex av gardiner eller möbler.

How to use IR-2ML with vari-

ants

Description

IR-2ML (incl variants) is a two-channel programmable IR receiver

with two voltage-free alternating relay switches. The receiver can

be programmed with all GewaLink channels, 4096 codes and Infra-

code. Alternatively the receiver can be set in a position where the

relays are activated irrespective of which channel is transmitted

(Public Function). The receiver relays can independently be set for

bistable (latching) or monostable (nonlatching) function.

Mounting

Snap o the lid and unscrew the frame from the base plate. Dis-

connect if necessary the detector cable so that the lid with the

detector is not in the way when the receiver is connected. Fasten

the base plate to the wall with the screw and connect all leads to

the circuit board.

Detector Connection

The wires are colour-coded. Connect the wires as in the gure. If

older types of detctors with only 3 wires will be used the receiver

must be modied. (Please contact GEWA for more information). Be

careful when connecting the leads! Making the wrong connection

may damage the equipment. It is possible to connect up to two

detectors.

Relay Connection

The receiver has two voltage-free alternating relay switches which

are connected to terminal blocks Re 1 and Re 2. See technical data

for max relay load. When connecting inductive load for instance

motors and relays, an interference suppression device should be

used.

Supply Voltage

Connect the power supply to the connection block between Re 1

and Re 2. The supply voltage for the receiver should be 12 - 24 V

stabilized DC (-5% +20%) or 24 V AC (+/- 20%). When using DC, note

the polarity.

Bistable Function

Use switch 3 to get a monostable or a bistable relay function. Switch

to "ON" for a bistable function and to "OFF" for a mono-stable fun-

ction.

Public Function

Public function means that the receiver accepts all transmitted chan-

nels within the GewaLink system, 4096 codes or Infra-code irrespec-

tive of which channel or code is transmitted. A channel or a code

(any channel or code can be used) must however be programmed

before the public function can be used. This function can be useful in

situations when it isn´t necessary for the user to keep track of which

channel is used for a certain function. NOTE! This function cannot be

used if there are more receivers within a visible area because all the

receivers will be aected at the same time. Choose public/normal

function by means of switch 4. Switch to "ON" for public function and

to "OFF" for normal function.

Programming

Decide whether the relay is to have a bistable or a monostable

function by using switch 3 on the printed circuit board. Then

decide whether the relay is to have normal or public function by

using switch 4. Press the transmitter channel which you want to be

programmed at the same time as you press programming button 1.

The receiver relay is activated and the indicator lamp ashes twice

thus conrming the programming. Relay 1 is now programmed.

Do the same thing for the second relay of the receiver but this time

using programming button 2 and another transmitter channel and

so on. If you are not satised with the selected channel repeat the

process. Warning! The actual relay is activated during programming.

GewaLink channels 0-127 (channel 62 has no function), 4096 codes

and Infra-code can be programmed. NOTE! The range is reduced if

the detector eye is covered or in any other way obscured by curtains

or furniture for example.

Cleaning

Clean the case of the receiver using some washing-up liquid. Use

only a damp rag, not a wet one.

Mode d'emploi du récepteur

2 canaux IR-2ML

Description

Le récepteur (variantes inclues) est un récepteur infrarouge à deux

canaux programmables, équipé de deux relais à contacts secs. Ce

récepteur peut être programmé avec les canaux GEWALINK ainsi

que 4096 codes secrêts et infra-codes. De plus, il peut autoriser

l'activation des relais quel que soit le code infra-rouge émis (fonction

publique). Les relais de sortie peuvent être programmés individuelle-

ment pour fonctionner en mode mono-stable (relais activé tant que

le signal infra-rouge est émis) ou bistable (relais activé après 1 impul-

sion sur l'émetteur, puis désactivé après une seconde impulsion).

Installation

Retirez le couvercle et dévissez le cadre qui est maintenu par 2 vis à

la base. Déconnectez si nécessaire le détecteur an de retirer entière-

ment le couvercle. Fixez au mur le support com-prenant la platine

électronique à l'aide de vis, et connectez les ls d'alimentation et des

sorties relais.

Connexion des détecteurs

Les 4 ls sont repérés par des couleurs. Connectez ceux-ci comme

expliqué sur le schéma. Si d'anciens modèles de détecteurs à trois

ls devaient être connectés, il faudrait alors modier le récepteur.

(Contactez C.R.E.E pour plus d'infor-mation). Attention lors de la con-

nexion des ls : un mauvais cablage pourrait déteriorer votre équipe-

ment. Seuls deux détecteurs peuvent être connectés sur ce type de

récepteur.

Connexion des relais

Le récepteur est équipé de deux relais à contacts secs repérés par

les mentions "RE 1" et "RE 2". Reportez-vous aux données techniques

concernant les charges maximales supportées. Lorsqu'une charge

inductive est connectée, que ce soit un moteur ou un relais de puis-

sance, il est recommandé d'ajouter un composant antiparasite.

Tension d'alimentation

Connectez l'alimentation aux deux bornes situées entre les borniers

des 2 relais et repérées par les signes + et -. La tension d'alimentation

du récepteur devrait se trouver entre 12 et 24v DC (-5%, +20%) ou

24 V AC (+/- 20%). Attention à la polarité lors d'une alimentation en

courant continu.

Fonction bistable

L'interrupteur 3 permet de faire fonctionner les relais en mode mo-

nostable (fugitif) ou bistable (mémorisé). Basculez ce micro-switch

sur "ON" pour une utilisation en mode bistable et sur "OFF" pour une

utilisation en mode monostable.

Fonction publique

La fonction publique signie que le récepteur accepte tous les ca-

naux Gewalink émis y compris les 4096 codes secrêts et infra-codes,

quel que soit le canal ou le code transmis. Tout canal ou code doit

cependant être programmé avant le passage en mode public. Cette

fonction peut être utile dans des situations ou il n'est pas néces-

saire à l'utilisateur de se souvenir de quel canal est utilisé pour telle

ou telle action. ATTENTION! Cette fonction ne peut pas être utilisée

dans le cas ou plusieurs récepteurs sont situés à proximité l'un de

l'autre car tous réagiraient en même temps. Sélectionnez le mode de

fonctionnement (public/normal) à l'aide du micro-switch 4 : position

'ON' pour fonction publique, et position 'OFF' pour un fonctionne-

ment normal.

Programmation

Faites votre choix quant au mode de fonctionnement des relais : mo-

nostable ou bistable. Validez votre choix en activant le micro-switch

3 sur le circuit imprimé. Déterminez ensuite le mode de fonctionne-

ment du récepteur: fonction normale ou publique à l'aide du micro-

switch 4. Appuyez sur le canal de votre émetteur que vous désirez

copier tout en gardant la doigt appuyé sur le bouton de program-

mation 1 du récepteur. Le relais de sortie "claque" alors plusieurs

fois et la diode rouge correspondante s'allume. Le relais 1 est alors

programmé. Recommencez cette procédure pour le second relais

avec un autre canal de votre émetteur. Ces deux manipulations peu-

vent être recommencées à tout moment si vous désirez changer de

canaux. Attention! Les relais sont activés lors de la programmation.

Les canaux Gewalink 0..127 (sauf le 62 qui est réservé) ainsi que les

4096 codes secrêts et les infra-codes peuvent être programmés.

NOTA: La distance d'émission est fortement réduite si le détecteur

est recouvert par des rideaux ou caché par un meuble par exemple.

Nettoyage

Nettoyez le boîtier du récepteur à l’aide d’un chion légèrement

imbibé d’eau et de liquide vaisselle si nécessaire.
